I just put the same case on my iPhone X. It looks good and it feels even better. Nice not to have the bulky Defender case. Already have my screen protector on. I am good to go on that front. Updating the phone and then will restore from encrypted backup.
Why is the knife in the picture? Kinda like banana for scale?

They are a little more subdued but they're still a vibrant red at purchase, can't speak to when the patina sets in though
The leather case is high quality and it patinas beautifully, but the silicone case is more protective and grippy having owned both for my 6s and 7 respectively.
If it wasn't so slippery compared to the silicone case I would go with leather again, but the phone itself provides more grip without the case. Plus there are no light colors that complement the silver iPhone X. It seems that my only option is the white silicone case if I don't want a splash of color. The silver iPhone X is so clean that I want to stick to white or light gray.
See my post above. I never thought I’d ever get a white case, but the silicone white looks amazing on my silver iPhone X. It hasn’t gotten dirty, discolored or picked up any major dust or lint. Time will tell if it discolors. But after reading and watching reviews on the white silicone case, it doesn’t seem to discolor.
Any discoloration or huge lint build up?
leather for me..
Mine sits flush and is positioned just right! This is one of the reasons why I'm staying with the Apple Leather Cases versus any others. The precision is just uncanny. This is my first saddlebrown and I'm a littler nervous. Is the camera and the lens fit perfectly? Mine has a space

Silicone is definitely thicker and heavier
The silicon is definitely lighter and less bulky than the leather by a fair margin. I have both. Can anybody tell me which case weighs more? Silicone or Leather?
Thanks in advance

Are you sure about that? I thought the silicone case would be lighter?

In the past I’ve always gone with leather but I’m actually really torn between the two this year.
The silicon feels lovely in the hand and this year has nice contrasting buttons which are more defined than last year’s. It is also fully lined on the inside unlike the leather which is only lined on the back - the sides are bare leather which I’m concerned might end up scratching the stainless band if dirt gets caught in there.
Whilst the silicon feels great initially and is super grippy, after a period of prolonged use it becomes slightly slippy in the hand - it feels like it’s constantly sliding out my hand, whereas the leather feels warmer and grippier the more it is used.
In terms of lint neither case is great initially but after a period of break in they’re both fine.
[doublepost=1510651318][/doublepost]Oh and the other plus to the silicon - this year the contrasting Apple logo is under the surface of the case and perfectly flat vs last year where it looked and felt like a stick on afterthought.
Curious. I'd not weighed them individually, but I'd probably stand by my point that the silicon certainly at least "feels" lighter - probably in part due to the slightly reduced bulk over the leather.Everything's right except the fact that the silicone case is lighter than the leather case.
I ordered both and weighed them:
Silicone Case for iPhone X: 23,5 grams
Leather Case for iPhone X: 20 grams
But still undecided...

I'm leaning more toward the silicon right now. It feels like with the changes/enhancements this year it might be the one for me. Plus given it is cheaper, its less of an issue to replace easily if it gets damaged than the leather...
