LED Cinema Display Vertical Lines

Recently got this LED Display on eBay and when it arrived I quickly noticed it had these vertical lines running through it. They are pretty much on the entire display. They are almost invisible on a white screen but when it is dark they become very noticeable. I cannot find pretty much anything about them and the seller said that they didn't experience them before they shipped it out. It happens on both a Mac Pro 5,1 and a PC using an adapter, as well as a 2015 MacBook Pro using Thunderbolt. Anyone know the problem or how to fix it? Also, maybe this could help, the display does not seem to wakeup when the computer falls asleep. Could be completely unrelated though.

I think that's just how LCD displays work. That isn't a Retina display. You're seeing the pixels, like we all did in the old days.

Haha I don't think that is it. Of course it is hard to notice on camera because of how pixels on a display interact with a camera but if you blow up the image they should be more noticeable. If you look near the address bar you should see a sort of checker pattern, single pixel thick line going vertical through it. There's about 4 an inch apart, then nothing for about 5 inches, then in the far right you can see a few more.

I would be wary about buying screens from Ebay. A lot of B-Grade LCDs get tossed around there, sometimes worse.
I was looking for a 1440P 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display, as it has built-in Ethernet and a decent speaker system. But I can't find one that's new. Or new-condition, certified used. So I gave up, And I'm glad I did, todays 5K+ or UltraWide screens are so much nicer than these older 27" Cinema displays. But for their time, they were the best.

I see now. My guess is that those have been there awhile. I wouldn't expect the eBay seller to confess. Do they exist regardless of the image? What if you change the resolution?

Yeah, they are there regardless of the image and regardless of the resolution. I already tried reseating the connector on the inside of the monitor but that did not make a change. Although now that I think about it I only reseated the side that plugs into the board and not the display panel. I haven't tried completely unplugging and replugging in the display panel as I would only do that if recommended to do so.

Edit: Oh it also still happens no matter what color profile is selected, and I also recalibrated it and no change.
