What does any of this have to do with the Mac version of L4D/2 ? Oh well. I enjoy a pointless gaming standoff as much as anyone.
I do get back to Macs by the end of the post..
MOST people prefer Windows to OSX.. The numbers game means nothing. Most people are irrelevant when it comes to personal preference and an *individual's* gaming habits.
Re PS3 bluetooth being a gimmick - nonsense, the PS3 has full BT support - any old mouse/keyboards/headsets work, which is great for text input/browsing etc.. What more could you want from Bluetooth really?
As with every hardware generation if you want all the best games you need all the main systems. They all have their killer apps.
And for the guys saying you need to upgrade PCs constantly.. It's such an untrue cliche. The Mac would be screwed as a gaming platform if that was the case. Most games will run fine on anything above an Geforce 8800 and that's ancient in GPU terms. Admittedly things look much nicer on faster machines but between an 8800 and a decent Core 2 Duo (also old) you'd wipe the floor with the 360 and PS3 at multiplatform games. I'm all for the advantages/convenience of consoles but people shouldn't overstate the problems of PC gaming.
Doesnt seem like thats actually the case looking at the sales.. Globally 360 and PS3 are on a similar footing. The US isn't "most people".that is why MOST prefer xbox over ps3.
