I see a lot of people keeping their phone in their left front pocket when they are left handed. If you keep your phone in your front pocket, right or left? And what is your dominant hand.

Whatever hand is available. I don't have a set pocket for my phone. I'm dominantly left handed, but also use my right hand a lot.

Other than when wearing dressy clothes, I tend to wear cargo style shorts or "Carpenter's" jeans/trousers in order to have the extra pockets. I guess I like to carry a lot of stuff. Typical stuff, Keys, wallet, pocket knife, change, honey baked ham ;), and phone typically (and I don't like to use back pockets at all)

I have several pair of these from Carhartt (denim & canvas) and this is the pocket my iPhone lives in:

I'm lefty and I keep it in my right front pocket. I keep money in the left front pocket, and I hold the bills with a metal money clip. Even though my phone is in a leather slip case, I don't want to take any chances. Also, I have a handkerchief in the left pocket which I position outside the phone for more protection.

This is all when I'm wearing jeans. When I wear a suit (to work every day) I carry my phone in my right inside jacket pocket.

(Above is probably a lot more than you wanted to know! TMI )

i might try left pocket. one thing that annoys me now is the little metal stud on the right front pocket of jeans. i keep catching my phone on it and one of these days its going to scratch the screen. so i'll try the left pocket

I'm a lefty & always keep it in my left-hand pocket. I feel off-kilter otherwise. I once put it in my right pocket for whatever reason & literally spent a good 2 minutes looking for it.

Left-handed, right pocket. Might seem dumb, but I do most things with my right hand (besides writing).

It may be weird for some but it works for me.

I'm left-handed. I carry the following:

Front left - Keys, coins, etc.
Back left - Wallet.
Front right - iTouch (soon to be iPhone later today)
Back right - Dumb MotoRIZR phone. (not for long!)

Since my RAV4 has a push-start button, I don't need to have my keys in the right pocket. I generally handle calls with my right hand so my left hand is available for other tasks that require my dominant hand.

I tried putting it in my left pocket very briefly. I kept taking it out of my left pocket and then putting it back in my right. Don't feel like fixing something that ain't broke so right pocket it is

Right handed

iPhone in front right, keys, Chapstick, etc. in front left, wallet in rear right.

This is gold dust for a pick pocket.

Hah! :p Better than gold-dust actually, as that's hard to grab!

Reminds me of those signs that say "beware of pickpockets" - and the first thing many people do is tap their pants/jacket/shirt pockets to ensure they still have their wallet, thus giving away which pocket they keep it in.

Left pocket, right handed. Keys and change in front right. The logical way for a right hander is to hold a phone in the left hand. That frees up the right hand for a pen, mouse etc.
