I wonder how realistic the movie is gonna be and parts will be left out.

Like the part where he didn't pay child support...abandoning his daughter and her mother to the point they had to live on welfare. Or when he lied and pocketed the bonus money that Woz didn't know about.

But Steve Jobs invented the iPhone so he's a great guy:D

He is human. Humans make mistakes. Why are you ******** over it? Are you his daughter?

When is Hollyweird going to figure out that outside of the tech world, Jobs was not that interesting a guy. He was an arrogant ego manic, who led one of the most successful companies in history.

However, you don't see any movies made about Jack Welch or Rex Tillerson for the same reason. Not that interesting to the majority of folks.

Did you even watch his "lost tape?"
Did you know him as friend?
Did you live with him?
Was he your bed buddy?

If None of the above, how can you assume who Steve REALLY was?
Judging by his public quotes, seems like Steve was a brilliant man that did what he needed to do to change the world. He never even cared for the money. The guy KNEW he was going to die fairly young.

You do know that as a CEO he has a business to run right? (and a damn successful one at that)

If you were rich and divorced would you want your child spoiled with riches? Do you not believe that your child should grow and learn the basis of "the american way?"

I agreed with your post until this one. Jobs was exceptionally shady regarding his firstborn daughter, to the point where he wouldn't even acknowledge that he was the father.

Leo is a terrific actor, but I can't see him playing Jobs.... Then again, hollywood magic.... Who knows.

Hmmm.... whilst I do like Leo, Inception was stunning, I do feel that this is another movie exploiting Jobs to make money and not much else. I mean the film won't be true to the real story, it'll be glammed up by Hollywood.

Plus Leo, mate, you look FAR too young to play Jobs, too short and not skinny enough also.

2" shorter than Jobs. Take your thumb and your forefinger, and open them apart 2". Yeah, that's really a problem on film

When are you going to figure out, nobody gives a rats ass about your opinion, outside of anywhere?

Leo was great in Wolf of Wall Street, but I just don't see him as Jobs... I thought Christian Bale was a better choice, but maybe that's just because I can picture him yelling at people so well. :D

Tom Cruise is more of a chameleon than Leo.

Magnolia and Tropic Thunder comes to mind.

He's skinnier. Older. Wiser. Has that mad-genius, crazy-eyed look. And is part of a cult, just like Apple. :p

These 2 sentences contradict each other.

Leo's one of my favorite actors but the The best guy for this role IMO is Daniel Day Lewis

He looks close enough and he has the same height and build as Jobs and also is around the same age (two years younger).

Plus he's arguably in the Top 3 best actors in the world at the moment

he looks close enough IMO, he would be the best choice, the only hard part would be landing him since he's extremely picky with roles.

He was great in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape". Since then, nothing special comes to mind. Trying to play Jobs would be a disaster for him.

Initially, yes. There's no doubt that Jobs had some issues. However, that changed, they developed a good relationship, and he named a computer after her. Do you have any idea what you're talking about or are you simply parroting something you think you heard?

Great choice. DiCaprio's age is better suited for the time covered in the film and has the charisma to pull off Steve. Bale has no charisma.

I'm a huge fan of DiCaprio. If he takes the movie on, I know he'll do a good job since he is particular on the movies that he works on.
