Picture me less interested with Dany Boyle... I don't see him direct a chatty movie written by Sorkin (who's phenomenal). Boyle is good at travelogues... As much as DiCaprio is THE best actor of his generation, I cannot see him as Jobs. Bale, I could. As for Ben Afflect, the guy cannot do a scene with a straight face. He's another Ashton IMO.

No one cares....

Correct, he's at the top of his game.

Making this movie would dilute his Star Power, one of the more intelligent actors with a seasoned, sage agent, walking away from this project serves him well.

He was initially welcomed by the Apple faithful, then he decided against the role and now the tired old Apple fan hypocrisy rears it's ugly head as people here bash him.

How insecure.

Bravo, the insane generalisation in your posts proves 100% your troll credentials.

BTW, some people dislike his acting style for legitimate reasons. He has a specific way of acting in many roles (he rarely melts into the role like someone like Bale or Daniel Day Lewis does). I don't mind it, but some might.

I've actually played B Ball many times against, with DiCaprio in 1995-1997 at the Venice Beach courts (pre Titanic). He was very skinny at that time. Because of that, I have a bit of a different perspective on him than other movie stars.

This role is not suited for him and it is a good thing he dropped out.

There will never be an Apple movie as good as Pirates of Silicon Valley. Geez. Batman as Steve Jobs???!? WTF.

While we're at it, why not cast Michael Bay as the director and make it an action thriller. Reminds me of that episode of Simpsons where they made a movie about the Simpson family ...

Steve must be rolling in his grave ...

Also, I'm not sure you understand what the word "biopic" means.

Sorry, I didn't notice that you picked a specific term. I don't think that distinction matters in terms of Steve Jobs video/movie fatigue. There's been a lot of many types combined. Getting upset that other people don't want what you want doesn't change things, and I'm just trying to explain why it might be.

He also owns the Venturi Racing Formula E team, a founding member of the first professional all electric racing series.

Nothing is black and white. I'm sure it would be very easy for people to judge you from afar based on isolated facts about your life as well... :(

Yes, I'm not green because I waste resources visiting MR :D
