Leopard has SHIPPED!

Do you know where the Puro-drop off point is in Lethbridge? I'm about 30-45 minutes outside of Calgary, and Purolator shows up usually in the late morning/early afternoon.
Keep your fingers crossed. I hope you get 'er!
 
Leopard has arrived!

Nice compact packaging, although I dare say that I kind of miss the bigger OS X boxes.

Just finishing a back up, and then I'll take the plunge! :)
 
I'm an Up To Date person. Shipped October 25.... via the POSTAL SERVICE. Whattttt? Plain old snail mail, without even a tracking number??

Sigh. But at least I might get it tomorrow since they deliver on Saturdays. Maybe that's why they did it Postal Service. So thanks I guess :)

Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things though, now is it!
 
Leopard has arrived in rural Kansas

Just received my copy of Leopard. I met the Fedex guy at the curb. Now the fun begins.

Got mine here in Oklahoma. It got here at the same time that FedEx always does so I don't think they even considered Priority....

Just checked out my UTD and it says deliver by the 30th via USPS. :(
Guess I'll keep reading others' opinions for a while.
 
I just talked to FedEx again and the woman said that it should be here today. I asked her if there might be anything else that would delay it and she said no... it will be there. Then as I was saying thank you, she said, to please hold. She then told me that Apple didn't put my full shipping address on the label and so, FedEx couldn't deliver it!

Man, Apple is getting sloppier by the minute. I am starting to think that as Apple grows, Steve Jobs might not be the right man for the helm anymore.

FedEx lied to me

The CSR told me that they had been given the wrong address by Apple - and quoted me the supposed address that they had.

I reminded her that FedEx is contractually obligated to meet their delivery times, and she quickly remedied the situation - I dictated the correct address to her, and lo and behold, 20 minutes later the package arrives.

...and it arrived with the original label, with the correct address.

I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, except for all the other reports.

This is why I'm a UPS guy now.
 
Fantastic, Purolator managed to put it in the wrong truck and I will have to go and pick it up after supper at their depot ... and I stayed here all day waiting after taking a day off of work :mad:

My status was also on truck for delivery from about 9 to 12 until it changed to Corrective action - In transit ... the rest is history but if I was you I would not be too worried they deliver until 6:00 PM.

Sorry to hear that, I don't think there is anywhere in NI that would stay open to sell it. It is a bit rubbish we only have pcworld as any form of apple reseller and they don't even sell mac software, just out of date macbooks! Anyway mines not being delivered until Monday, it has been sitting in Nuneaton since Thursday night:confused:

My Purolator status has been "waiting for connection" all day! It's here in Calgary, but no other word on it. Everytime I try calling Purolator too, they hand up on me when I'm half through their automated system.

What does waiting for connection mean?! :mad:

Won't have mine until Monday too. I hate Purolator. Everytime I deal with them something gets delayed or I have problems.
 
my pin number from the apple shipment confirmation email doesn't even work. when i try the tracking number on www.purolator.com, it shows up as "contact office" blah blah blah. I've been waiting for a week. Hopefully it'll be here by next week.

Anyone else have the same problem?

Oh yeah, I'm in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Maybe purolator's just really delayed up here. I wish I could get a working tracking number though.
