Very nice.

Now, someone try the centered desktop picture and see if Leopard makes a shelf and reflection!

but isn't the shelf the standard dock in leopard? did I miss something, because all pictures I've seen before have had that dock

Mind posting the build number? Go to "About this Mac" and click on where the version is listed. Just want to compare to mine; see if it's the same. Thanks!

Total brilliance.

Now, care to test the single centered image as a desktop picture? Yeah, I'm going on about this, but this is a feature that will mean a lot to me.

As the earlier screenshot showed, if you select a single image to center does it give you the option of adding a shelf and reflection? Or is this automatic? Or was that earlier screenshot just a custom wallpaper?

Just tried it. It doesn't do it and there's no option. So that screen shot was nice a nice photoshopped background :( piddle.

It is awesome they decided to make all their Apps finally look the same, interface-wise and not mix and match with that old Safari brushed metal look, etc.

Thanks for posting all of the screenshots everyone! I love, love, love how the dock looks on the side.

It's really not that hard, I've done a good number of relection pictures in Photoshop. You might already know how edesignuk, this post is just for people who may not.

Basically, copy text or picture, turn in upside down by transforming it, then change the opacity, it's best to cut off the reflection at some point. you can also transform the reflection to make it look a little more realistic.

Here's a tutorial for some of you up-and-coming photoshop artists: http://www.showandtell-graphics.com/reflection.html

I know next to nothing about terminal so before I try this, how do you bring the dock back to its original state after changing it to 2d?
