One other thing, has anyone else seen this?? I drapped the apps folder into the dock, but the icon is the same as the address book.

that's a stack dude. it takes on the first icon in the folder...

Is there not a way to dictate which icon is displayed? That would seriously suck if not--I'm not to keen about having the Address Book front and center all the time. A generic Applications folder icon would have been nice.that's a stack dude. it takes on the first icon in the folder...

I imagine you would change the part that says "... -boolean YES" to "... -boolean NO".I know next to nothing about terminal so before I try this, how do you bring the dock back to its original state after changing it to 2d?
I believe that was Mac OS 10.0.That's a fake btw.....looks like OS9 to me. Also look at the copyright dates.
Sure not Leopard or OS X.

With all the talk about the UI changes in Leopard... I'm just glad it doesn't look like this anymore http://flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=244427909&size=o
Man, how did I ever tolerate that? What was I THINKING?

I hope there's a way to get the rounded corners of the menubar back.![]()

No it isn't. OS 9 looked nothing like that. It is the public beta of Mac OS X that Apple released before bringing out the final version (Mac OS X 10.0).
Ooo, that's good. How'd you get it to use the Applications folder for that particular folder though?I figured a way to do it, although it seems like an unnecessary workaround. Created a new folder in apps titled A. Changed the icon from the standard folder icon to the apps folder icon.
The 2nd picture is the grid view after clicking on that stack. As you can see the A folder is sitting just ahead of the address book.

I believe that is Linux.![]()
The dock looks like crap on the side.. if you like it there why not go back to windows...
If you actually use the dock, then why not go back to windows?
This is fake.. most likely Liger or other skinner for Tiger..
