I don't understand why people disable Siri. In case you accidentally long press the home button? It's not like it's constantly running and absorbing resources just waiting for you to use it.

Because they're paranoid about Apple recording them and tracking them and whatnot.

I hadn;t heard that. The funny thing is, if Apple were doing this, I don't think a simple Siri toggle would turn this tracking off. In other words, if they are tracking you, it's not going to be something you can just shut off.

Because they just want to. Why do people care if other people want to disable Siri?

I still use it to text while driving, though it would be much more effective if she would read your text back to you as opposed to wanting you to read it yourself... kind of defeats the whole "safety" purpose.

I use Siri about 4-5 times a week. It's very helpful when you want to know the number or address of a restaurant or business. Much, much quicker than looking it up in Safari.

I use it all the time while driving to send messages and emails , read me my messages and schedule appointments.

Clearly you guys across the pond have been having problems with Siri since the 4s came out. I never have any problems with her and very rarely do I have to edit a dictated tx or e-mail.

I think you Europeons should bring back ur 4S iphones and wait til Siri actually works for you guys, (iso6 perhaps) cause everytime I see a member having problems, I look under their screen name and sure enough they're Europeon.

Wordoflife is from America.... The USA is the former British empire.... Siri is the same everywhere (except for the voices), so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Did siri type that for you? Because European only has one o.
