I seem to be dead lucky when deciding for the first time in my life to sign an 18 month contract. Normally I would have been screwed, as in June I would still have 6 months left. However this time, it falls right around my renewal date!
iPhone 4S - Sprint exclusive, A4 processor, same hardware as the iPhone 4, redesigned tapered case, 4" screen with lower PPI than the retina display, thus cheaper, low cost option.
iPhone 5 - iPhone 4 look-alike with A5 processor, better camera, 3.5" screen, and all the new gizmos we expect every year from Apple, available to all carriers.
That's my bet.

Aah yeah true there, I still think retina display is a bit overated though, I can't tell a HUGE difference between the 3GS and the 4 display, certainly not enough to be able to notice the difference between the 4 retina display and that Toshiba panel

Small update for the iTunes main page, and "My Alerts" isn't showing the new releases that would normally show up... seems either there is going to be an iTunes content new addition (new TYPE of content), or iTunes 10.5 is going to be ready for download this afternoon.
near the end of the presentation, Cook will say "just one more thing..." and bring out Steve to announce the iphone 5 (surprise)
I am 99.99% sure that Steve will be doing some if not leading the keynote today so I would certainly be screaming with delight if Steve unveils a surprise iPhone 5
I bet the vibe around the HQ is pretty amazing. It would be neat to see how things are put together behind the scenes.
Hahaha, I wonder how many times Tim Cook has run through his presentation, the guy has _got_ to be nervous. Obviously, people in his position tend to have decent speaking skills, but this is such a key moment in Apple's history with SJ stepping down.
It would be neat to see Steve make one more appearance at an event like this.

Could it be possible that Apple will release an iPhone 4, an iPhone 4S (same design, better camera, faster processor etc. just as has been rumoured and seems pretty certain) and then this "redesigned" iPhone that's floating about could be an "iPhone Air"?? The redesigned iPhone seems too thin to have all the features that the 4S is rumoured to have, such as the 8MP camera unit. So maybe they will have another new phone that is a new design, thinner, bigger screen... but less on other features... kind of like Apple MacBook line up?

I still don't see Tim doing more than about 5 mins of talking "good morning ladies and gentlemen of the press thank you for coming blah blah blah", he is not at all good as a public speaker and he knows that so I think he will talk for a short while and then hand over to Steve to do the keynote or if Steve isn't well enough then Phil do the keynote like he did with the 3GS.
Really don't see Tim doing the main keynote he is fine for talking financials but not hyperbole product launches

Would be nice, but I doubt it! Not long to go now, I think something special is going to happen. I am also pretty certain a LOT of disinformation has been going around to keep it under wraps. The trick is to figure out the truth behind it. Never mind, we are all excited so lets just wait in see, not long now!

There's no way the 4S stands for Sprint, it doesn't even exist in Europe and I seem to remember European sites stocking the 4S the other day?
