Can you say iOS multi-tasking? Apple really did that better than anyone else!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Really? Were they successful in conserving battery life? Yup. Were they able to make it fast and easy? Yup. Is it as good as WebOS? Of course not. Does it need improvement? More or less. Are you a troll who's going to bash these remarks? Of course not!

Seems worse than the iOS solution to me, a task killer is the last thing I want on my phone.

Well i wasn't suggesting it was superior to the iOS solution, just clarifying what you said originally. I like both iOS and Android. Both have great strengths and weaknesses.

Yeah. I emailed Steve about it once. He said "We have tested it and other variants a lot and its not nearly as good as our current keyboard." Take what you will...

LOL, what a lie that is. I hated typing on my iPhone. Real touchy and made mistakes all the time and it lagged badly when i turned it horizontal.

I too hate the horizontal thing. It drives me insane, so much so I have to turn on the Orientation Lock. Some days are better than others, but I'm usually a pretty quick typer on the iOS keyboard (faster than most), but that's just me. The auto-correct does come in handy, but only when it spells the right word (the site damnyouautocorrect.com gives plenty of examples). Cheers! ;)

Well Android 2.2 has a task killer built into the OS and automatically kills any battery draining apps.

No, it doesn't. That feature was just implemented in 2.3 aka Gingerbread. That releases with the Nexus S I believe.

My point is what we have now is constantly evolving. To say one OS is better than another at everything all the time is stupid.

I'd say they did, I really appreciate better battery life compared to "real" multi-tasking. Android just puts stuff in the background and leaves it to the user to figure out what to kill.

It's obvious you have no idea how android handles multitasking.

Gingerbread is nice, but it is still lag in certain areas. I will be buying android phone that comes with android honeycomb. 3.0 update will be huge.

Since it isnt out till tomorrow, how do you know? Agree Honeycomb will be huge but GB is supposed to be an overhaul to Froyo as well.
