I have a 2016 15 inch macbook pro and needing advice regarding my desk setup with the following components, which I am planning to purchase. My goal is to get 5.1 audio from the Logitech speaker system and utilize 3440 x 1440 resolution at 60hz from the lg ultrawide display from my macbook. Also of note, the audio output on newer macbooks is not optical as it was on previous macbooks. Your help is greatly appreciated in advance.

I’m not sure if usb-c to usb-c will work? So I looked at other options.
