The same person who can afford a $30k TV!

...even then, the poor souls can't afford a carpet as well. Or a power cable.

Those floorboards look like they need a good scrub and a coat of oil before they can be a 'feature', too...

If I had a mountain chalet with a 30 ft panoramic window overlooking the Alps, the first and only thing I would put in front of it would be a giant TV.

Probably why the sofa isn't in front of the TV - you're going to get a really sore neck trying to watch Celebrity Love Island on that...

The window makes the tv look small though.

Seriously, though - this. Whoever composed the picture needs to sit back and have a serious think about exactly what they think they're selling - the TV, the lovely stock photo library that they've pasted into the fake window frame, or Acme Pine'n'Shine floor polish.

My 65" LG OLED was one of the best purchases I've ever made. Truly amazing picture quality. If I watched more tv I'd buy the 75' in a heartbeat.

Buyer beware — the HomeKit connection that rolled out in 2019 LG OLED sets with the July firmware update doesn’t work. There’s some kind of a Bluetooth conflict (perhaps with the LG Magic Remote) that prevents adding these TVs to the Home setup on your Apple device.

Hopefully, a new firmware update will fix this soon. I’m not sure about this new 75-inch model, but it’s a problem with the 65-inch, and 55-inch models.

Agree. Waited for the LG AirPlay2 3.60.19 firmware update in late July - was provided 2nd week of August (left coast US). Now that the LG E9 is purportedly an AirPlay2 device - what now? With an ATV4K routed into HDMI-4, I could already manage the LG via the Apple Siri remote buttons for volume, power, etc., and as long as the ATV4K was the input device, on-screen Apple media and apps appear and are controllable as always. The LG magic remote air mouse thing even controls the ATV4K to a decent extent. I just don't see the advantage of AirPlay2 on the LG. It would be nice if I could access the stereo'd homepods from the native LG WebOS apps (like Netflix, Amazon, Vudu), but the E9's 4.2 speaker assembly is a decent substitute.
So, what's the advantage of LG's Airplay - throwing iPhone videos at it? Does that even work?

With a window like that, you're not going to put a TV in front of it. You're going to hang a screen on a roller that can cover the entire window, and hang an 8K projector from the ceiling. Nothing else makes sense.

I mean if you can afford this tv will you be using the limited tv's apps over a powerful set top box? Ive never used a tv that can do what my real appletv can do.

Someone answer me this: for the new LG, Samsung, Sony "Smart TVs" that have Apple TV pre-loaded, what exactly does that mean? Is it any different from having a standalone Apple TV box plugged into the HDMI port?

I am trying to understand if I need to upgrade my old Apple TV unit, or just buy a brand new TV with Apple TV pre-loaded.

its means its probably slower than the appletv 4k box you can buy.

The funny thing is. Those are likely very expensive old growth wood boards reclaimed from some old building.
