I would put it on and make sure screen doesn't horrendously rainbow before you tout those claims
I hope you aren't saying the LifeProof is waterproof.Just bought the lifeproof frē for the 7 plus from Best Buy's website. It qualified for 2 day shipping and I received it on Sat. I put it on this morning and I must say that they have put some thought into developing the case.
Yes I know the iPhone 7 and 7 plus are water resistant. But remember. There's a difference between water resistant and waterproof!!!
Fit: nice and slim. Just a few mm thicker than the phone. There is also no air gap between the screen and the protector.
Sound: for being covered, the sound is great. Not muffled. And you don't have to open the lightning port to produce a louder sound.
Overall: this case is very nice. A big improvement from the previous versions that I've owned.
No, It's LifeProof.
Has anyone tried the LifeProof with a tempered glass already installed on their phone?

Seriously though, could never take them and/or Otterbox seriously with all of their "waterPROOF" braggadocio when they won't guarantee the phone against water damage when inside their products.

Saw a picture of the Lifeproof for the 7 plus with a 1 year device or replacement program sticker on the front. I noticed the guy above did not have that sticker on his box.

Still no nasty oil slicks in the screen? Someone said the grills on the front are speaker ports. Can you confirm that?
I've had every lifeproof since they first came out! This includes a couple nuuds and fre power. So I think I know what I'm talking about. You can cry all you want about oil slicks. Most lifeproof fre cases have them but you can't see them when the screen is on. If oil slicks when the screen is off gets your panties in a knot then install a anti-glare screen shield on the iPhone before you put the case on. I placed my order on Monday night. I upgraded shipping so the total was $55.60 and it arrived today.
Do not disrespect my opinion of LifeProof cases. This is a public forum in which I'm allowed to publicly express my experience and or opinion just as you are. When it's my $90 buying a case I will whine and cry all I choose or not choose to do sir. I however do appreciate your permission to "whine and cry". Leave your rude attitude in your recliner. Now that we have that out of the way...
Anyways, no one questioned whether you do or don't know what your talking about. I certainly hope a Nuud didn't leave rainbow effect on your screen though
I have tried the screen protector under a Fre case and had same rainbow results. Also tried the baby powder trick. I did go ahead and order one of these stated above. I do truly hope it doesn't rainbow as is said in this thread for the sake of you evidently having a issue with me expressing my experience. I figure at $40 I can easily unload it and break even if it sucks like the last half dozen of these I've had

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered mine. This will go on my 7 plus only when in precarious circumstances otherwise I'll go with the saddle brown leather or naked.

My new LifeProof case was oil slick free for about 30 minutes.
