I heard that they were releasing the new cases sometime in November. I'm really hoping they release a holster clip with it for the iP6s like they have did the iP6. I don't like the universal attachment they came out with.
Maybe I'll give it another go but for me the bottom would not snap together. But realistically I should probably wait for the updated one.
I am currently on my 2nd case for the 6 plus and the tabs broke yet AGAIN! 1st case shipped in May and was the V1 and both tabs broke. They shipped me a V2 case and now one tab is broken off and submitted for a 3rd warranty claim and they want to charge me $4.99 shipping! 3 cases within 5 months awesome product.
Has anyone tested a 6s plus in the obviously risky situation of submersion? I have mine in my 6 plus Nuud but it is such a tight fit I am definitely worried about full protection under water. Now in the shower or rain, etc I do feel like it will work until the new case comes out. Obviously still works well for drops, too.
I too have been having problems with the tabs on the doors breaking off on my 6+ case. I'm on my 3rd case now and my 4th gets here next week (one was replaced because I could not mute my ringer). I think it's ridiculous that they charge you $4.99 + tax for them to replace it now. They claim it's because it's easier than sending them a picture. Um, I have an iPhone, to save $5 I'll go through the "trouble" of sending you a picture.

Wow. I didn't know that they charged now. I went through 5 cases. And the 6th one I asked to change the color from black to white. And that held up longer than the pervious cases. But sadly I upgraded to the 6S plus.
I wanna see what they come up with when they release the Frē
I just ordered my 3rd Nuud case today. The first one V1 charging door broke quickly. I was pleased with improvements on my first replacement with the wider battery charging port. The clips holding the door appeared larger and stronger but still broke within 3 months. I'm hoping my 2nd replacement turns out better. They also waived the $4.99 shipping charge since I had not had the replacement very long which was nice.
Good to know they have some discretion on the shipping charges.
Just to update. I got my nuud case release week from Lifeproof for my 6 plus. Tabs broke after a few months and i got a replacement. Now close to a year later a tab broke on this one as well. Will be submitting a claim but will be limiting use of the case to when I really need it. Love it for the most part but hate the door tab design.
I called today to have mine replaced for about the 5th time. They offered to send me the fré instead so I took them up on it. We'll see if it's any better. Surprisingly they didn't even try to ask for the $4.95 shipping.
I ended up selling my nuud case to a friend. so far he hasn't had any problems with it. I also upgraded to the 6S Plus. I just recently purchased the fre case and i must say that faith has been restored to Lifeproof.
But, they just announced the Fre power for the 6S plus too................ugh....
Third replacement case charger port tabs broken YET AGAIN! On case #4 and now failing a warranty claim through lifeproof only consists of paying $5. No more need to take a photo of the case apparently on their print out. I am VERY disappointed with this case and will NEVER buy from them again. Instead of addressing the problem now I have to pay $5 every other month when this case brakes? Sounds like a scam to me!

Have them switch you to the Fre. They did for me and it is way better. No problems yet.
Did you just reply to their automated emails to ask them to switch or did you have to call? I didn't even get a chance to ask any questions or add additional comments!
I just got off the phone with them and they are sending me the Fre. Thanks for the suggestion! I hope this one does not have the plastic clips!
the fre for the 6s plus is a great case, just don't like that the back scratches so easily. Otherwise it would be the perforce case for me.

I agree. But as stated before the test, it was done in double the time and triple the depth. That's why it's important to read instructions and not push the limits of your case with a $1,000 iPhone.
I guess common sense would come into play. If I'm going to use my iPhone under water deeper than the recommended depth and longer than the recommended time that is highly suggested by LifeProof than I need to purchase a case accordingly.
Agreed. I'm surprised DryCase wasn't tested. It's the ONLY case I trust my devices with. You vacuum the air out before it goes into water so you know for certain it's waterproof, and it'll go to crush depth before leaking (if it leaks even then). I've taking it Scuba diving without an issue.
Ok, so never, ever, wait to put your phone into a waterproof case until you're in a 'dirty' environment. Even a tiny spec of dirt can 'break' the waterproof seal. Assemble in clean environment. And don't rush it, like these guys did.
