It is perhaps the most compact waterproof case on the market today for the iPhone 6 Plus, without significantly hindering function with Touch ID, and access to exterior controls.

I can't tell if the material has been changed, but did notice indexing notches on the case side that interface with the small lip on the charging door flapper tabs, and a slightly overcut channel below the tabs perhaps to offer greater tolerance to mitigate pre-loading of the tabs for variance in manufacturing.

I concur.

attached pic is Lifeproof Lifejacket for 5/5s, and my 6 Plus Nüüd (V2), I will never get how Lifeproof market this accessory (still not available since iPhone 6/ 6 Plus released on Sept 19, 2014), that's 9 months already, and next iPhone will be released in 3 months (Sept. 2015).

Is it that difficult to increase the size, shrink the area for mute and volume buttons, and reposition the power/sleep/wake button? The camera area is fine.

Is it due to issues in China? Their package boxes do mentioned "made and assembled in China".

I have a question, does the door problem happen to the other color of the Nuud for the life proof case? It seems to me its just happening to the black ones? Can anyone confirm?

I have a Zagg HDX screen protector installed on my 6+, will the lifeproof work with that still on?

They don't recommend a screen protector that goes past the screen. They provide a screen protector that covers only the screen. But what's the point of putting a screen protector if you're gonna get it wet? But if you aren't gonna use the case for the waterproof ability, I guess it's good.

I'm not going to use as an everyday case just for camping and the beach and such, going to avoid water as the one on my 5S leaked. Just picked one up from best buy so I'll see how it works this weekend on my trip

Did you pick up (V2) newer version in BLACK at Best Buy?

I was at couple of Best Buy on Thursday 6/11/2015 there were no (V1) or (V2) in BLACK.

Attached pic is Best Buy's 6/11/2015:
V1 "old" (77-50365) - 6 Plus Nüüd White
vs.
LifeProof's website V2 newer version (77-51306) - 6 Plus Nüüd White

Well, I just visited my local AT&T store. And they had the revised lifeproof Nüüd case for the 6 plus. Just make sure that you look at the model number before purchase.

I really want to like the Nuud but the clear back scratches and makes the set up look horrible.

No, my AT&T local stores have its own UPC label over LifeProof's UPC label.

I was at my local AT&T stores on Father's Day 6/21/2015. I went to the accessories rack. I asked the store manager can the boxes be open (both black and white) so I can check and explain the differences ... the store manager opened the boxes for me without further questions and I advise all stocks on hand (30+ in white and black) are old version (V1).

I have pics of AT&T's UPC label over LifeProof's UPC label (not attached).

Over 30+ days usage with iPhone 6 Plus Nüüd (V2), no problems with the "newer, tighter" charger port door. I've open and close the charger port door at least 3 to 6 times per day and been using under water.

Just minor scratches on back cover (pic attached).

Remember there is an elevated gap between back cover and flat surface (see my post #109 attached pic in this thread).

I really like the Nuud until I saw someone at a party with one and although the back had minor scratches the potential for it a scratch machine is pretty high.

I concur the potential for scratches. The more scratches I like (at least I can see not on the phone). I can scratch the back cover with coin or key if I wanted today. One thing I know for sure, I will have warranty replacement(s) within next 11 months based on my past experiences with both models (Frē and Nüüd).

I might put this on the back. Apparently it's waterproof too.
It's called hexmag grip tape. It's really for gun magazine holder. But

Does anyone else have bubbles under their home button? They drive me nuts and I can't seem to get rid of them. Any tips?

I still have a few bubbles. But i blew canned air into the charging port and just re pushed the home button.

Actually, material wise, depending on the technique of adding pigmentation to the extrusion process, generally speaking color diminishes the strength of plastics/polymers. A good design will take that to account by adding additional safety factors, greater thickness, geometry changes, such that the change in material strength is negligible or has marginal impact. What we're probably seeing is statistically more black cases in the market, and thus seeing more occurrences than white ones.

I also have a Zagg tempered glass protector installed on my iPhone 6 plus since day one, although LifeProof instructions require you to remove any screen protector, I haven't done so yet. I was originally going to use the case for a couple of days to see how I liked it, and then go back to remove the protector. But so far after a couple months of use, it works fine in the elements - rain, shower, rinsing it under a faucet. Though it wouldn't be advisable to use it while diving, or any prolong submersion in water, as the pressure differential may cause a leak to occur around the gasket seals on around the front speaker element and home button due to the raised surface from the screen protector and the phone.

So using one won't guarantee it to be waterproof, just water resistant. Also check to make sure the transparent gasket around the screen periphery isn't folded or tucked in within itself, for proper seal make sure to follow the instructions to insert the bottom of the phone in first, and watch carefully on the screen side to make sure the gasket seal is uniform and consistent as you completely insert the phone in the case, if it doesn't, back off, and try again.

With a screen protector I find the fit tighter on the gasket, especially on V1, but the tolerances are looser on V2, phone seems to fit looser even with a screen protector. I'm still using a a warranty replacement V1 case, which just so had the charger flapper tab break recently, so I'll swap to the V2 soon and report back on the durability if anything noteworthy happens.

I really want to like the Nuud but the clear back scratches and makes the set up look horrible.
Yes, you're not the only one to complain about this issue. It does scratch too easily. And for a $100 dollar case, you'd think they'd design a better back cover, the large exposed areas are prone to scratches, especially with polycarbonate, and diminishes the overall quality of the case.

I'd definitely would prefer the frē back cover and not the transparent one on the nüüd. If they ever do make a frē iPhone 6 Plus case, I'd buy one, just to see if I can swap the back cover out, as previous LifeProof cases you could apparently swap the back covers on the nüüd to the frē.

I get them quite frequently too, but goes away after I've used compressed air or DacVac/shop vac in reverse to blow off excess water when the case get's wet. The fast moving air above the case causes the membrane to lift up, and then you press back down to remove any bubbles.

Amazon still with V1 version (attached). My point is order directly via LifeProof for V2 or V3 (newest/latest improved design), forget about authorized resellers for now...
