My last one was just two small dots that's like a millimetre, but this one's big. Is the white box refurbs?

Which is why light leaks aren't "officially" supported because mostly all iPod touches have it.

And no, white box with no labels mean that its a replacement iPod. Apple can't give retail boxes.

Refurbished means returned, fixed by Apple and can't be sold as "new". They sell refurbished iPods at reduced prices and use it for replacement iPods if applicable.

So I guess the replacement iPod I'll be getting might be that... I really hope the condition is going to be close to like new or very good since I've taken great care of the iPod I'm about to exchange it for.

I've gotten my iPod touch replaced before and they iPod is in brand new condition. No scratches, smudges, or any impurities of any kind. The battery is brand new. Apple takes returned products are swaps the insides for new ones, then swaps the outer steel casing. Therefore, you get a 80% brand new device.

Got a replacement with smaller light leak than the replacement before, which had a light leak as big as the lockscreen clock. This Genius didn't know about light leak and spent quite a time on his MacBook probably searching the issue, and told me "we normally don't replace for this issue" and looked like I was a perfectionist freak, while the Genius before said it is indeed an issue.

Light leak growing and on/off button and volume rocker problems

Hi im new to this forum.
I was looking up on google and I found this website. My iPod Touch 4g had a light leak but at first i thought that it was normal because it was only two small dots. I have just noticed it and it has grown and lights come out 1/3 from the side of the screen. My Power button frequently does not work and the volume rocker does not even work anymore. I actually preordered my iPod on the 4th of September so is it because of the machines? Oh its 32GB
Thanks
