They're screwing with us

where is the new iMac?!:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Tim and Phil decided to screw with us and they cancelled the launch. :p

Actually those talking about there being a glut of 20" iMacs in the channel may be the reason the new model is being held back. That and Apple trying to sort out the dodgy Nvidia solder material in their newest mobile GPUs. It could also be that Intel has been unable to deliver enough CPUs.

Ok so here's to next Tuesday!! :D

sitting here with a G5 running Tiger, I believe any current PC (Win or Mac) purchase would be better than I've got.
I've been waiting quite a bit. I've been "in the market" since this time last year. the focus then was a refurbed MacPro. the last few refrshes of the iMac just weren't enough to get me to pull the trigger.
- i even gave some thought to going with a WinPC, but was NOT going to go Vista.
so on and on,.....trudging through ..... waiting for something worth it

I believe this is gonna do it
all the things you look for
a refined OS, with a thorough upgrade to the machine

but Apple better come hard with it
throw it all at me
QuadCore
Dual Video (512mb) cards (running simultaneous)
eSata
an ExpressCard/34 slot
HDMI (or some form of Dual Display capability for the new ACD)
more ports across the board
I'll throw $2,000 at it

hopefully the pause, is to give them time to get it right

Well Apple needs to man up an get all of HBO's content on board (specifically Trublood....).

I gave up on TruBlood in a half a dozen episodes

Ha ha! I bought the machine above from Dell over 6 months ago for $700 :D $2000! LOL so you are willing to pay over $1300 for OS X ? ROFL :D

New numbers are out today for unemployment, based on these numbers I doubt Apple release anything new any time soon. Just being realistic not saying that the sky is falling but the numbers dont lie 580,000 jobs lost last month worst since 1974. - 3.6 million jobs lost since Dec. 07

Well the economy is great @ my house so I just got home with new 24" iMac...

If you are old enough to work or pay a mortgage I will keep an eye on Craig's List for you 24" iMac in a few weeks after you get your lay off notice. Funny how those pink slips creep up on you out of no where

Although the current iMacs are beautiful machines, I hope for your sake the new iMac comes out within 14 days:p.

I debated that for over two months and I should have bought in December. I do not think the refresh will be for at least two months so I am very happy. Worst case I sell it on craigslist and it cost me a couple of hundred $$$ and I go buy the new one, but not sure if I will need it. But I am very impressed with my first imac...

I'm sort of a hypocrite because I bought this 20" iMac in December:p.

I don't think I'll sell it when the new one comes out though.

Ya I should have just pulled the trigger then but a friend of mine told me to check out the buyers guide here, so I did and that basically put me in the waiting game and I have ZERO patience...hope you enjoy yours!
