On my way to get coffee just now I saw about 10 people outside a ATT store at 4pm. I'm telling you if you want a 6+ you better be in line NOW lol.

Here you go...This is a pic I took earlier. i will take a better one later.

The line at the store in Greenwich, CT was about 25-30 deep at 1 pm. It was mostly day laborers that you'd pick up at Home Depot in the morning. A couple blocks away, there was not a soul outside the AT&T store.

Oh my god, day laborers as line sitters... Why haven't I thought of this before?

Usually its just 5th ave or SOHO. Ill take some better picks when I go out tonight. Even the slow stores are packed with lines of people thats the point. If I had gotten in line last year at this time I wouldve been first one in line by at least 3hrs.

First off: ITS NEW YORK FREAKING CITY BRO!

secondly, everybody probably has noticed that that particular store has less foot traffic so they have chosen to wait in line there!

Imagine being the janitor that has to clean up the bathroom those folks are using. Some of them will probably **** in the allies around there and the 6 rolllout will smell like feces.

Not any more. Go there now and it is a ZOO! literally. People lined up from 9th all the way down to 10th street and that was at approximately 3:30pm. The police are monitoring everything. They made several line cutters go all the way to the back.

Never seen a line like this at W14th street Apple Store accept for the iPad 2 where people were lined up down 9th ave to 10th ave then from 14th to 24th street....and that was just 2 hours before iPad 2 launching. People were literally walking by and then seeing everyone else and getting in line to buy whatever it is Apple was releasing...and that was in March. It's still cold here in NYC in March. Everything else has gotten a tepid response in comparison.

Hope you're not a photojournalist. That pic doesn't show the line at all. Go across the street to get the shot.

It was a terrible shot.

i work next door to that store and only saw around 30 people around 1pm. was hoping to get lucky tomorrow morning, guess not.

He's right. 14th is rarely as busy as the others

"Hola senior, que pasa? Trabajo? Si? I-telelphono seis...para mi...mucho gracias!"

LMAO, So true.
The line that I'm in has a guy that's 5th in line and has 5 seats out (2 devices per customer) and is buying 10 of them so that he can ship them overseas to have his family for reselling. The people after him have little hope of landing a Plus now!

how would they buy it thou, think about it,,,

Money is Multi Lingual

This is seriously freaking me out. I was planning to go pick up my preorder at the Soho store tomorrow but I don't know if I can face that mob scene...
