Looking for a nice bump in my shares! Buying Apple since 2000 is paying for a lot!
Thanks for sharing these. Pretty decent line. I've never been to Russia and was surprised to see stores with English names.
Lucky dog! I'm sure the 8:1 split a few years back also helped immensely since the stock after the split was $80US and jumped to $100US within less than 4 days!
Today: UP $1.22US potentially I'm estimating and reading it could be higher still over the weekend![]()
I believe it was 7 to 1, but yes it was nice. But there were a lot of years of drought while I held on. The stock bounced in the teens and 20s for a long time until the late 2000s or so.
Luckily I owned Microsoft, and it was going gangbusters. Then the Balmer years set in.But now with Satya
. Happy days are here again!
I will confess that I have waited in line to buy an iPhone. But you have to admit this is really stupid to video the first people coming out with a new phone... Like they are a rock star or something. I remember the kid a few years back that became the first to come out and then a few seconds later the first to drop his new iPhone and break it.iPhone X Launch Day Syndney Australia:

In Manhattan those are referred to as "affordable housing".
Exactly. Any consumer desire I’ve had has been artificial, thrust upon my reluctant brain by forces beyond my control. I realize now I’d be much happier in a yurt in the woods with no phone service or plumbing. I feel so used. Not the consumer excitement, the industry that creates artificial desire for superfluous purchases.
Does the iPhoneX really cost 1000 dollars, is it correct? (I'm not joking, I trully would like to know).
If it is indeed 1000 dollars, I'm astonished, I can't believe how so many people can afford such an expensive mobile phone.
Or are they buying it throug a plan (is there such a thing via Apple?)
Anyway, good for Apple, the gain will be tremendous.

So an iPhone X represents a superfluous source of synthetic happiness, but an iPhone 5s is fine?Straw men aside, most people could survive perfectly well with the phone they already have or with a lower cost replacement. BTW, you can still get cellular service to your 5s inside your yurt. So you should be good.
That first picture, with the line before "Apple Store on West 14th Street in Manhattan" has five weird tent-things. They look too small to sleep in, yet there seem to be blankets in them. Can anyone explain what these are?
