Really???? MR history shows that unless people start threads or revive old threads by asking about it, it will not happen. It will be interesting to see if this time it's different.

How about it, everyone. No one ask about it and let's see if it happens anyway. Whaddya think? Worth a try?

I can't tell if you forgot the sarcasm smiley on this one.

I would assume that the point being made is that when there is real news people won't have to ask, someone (or probably several someones at the same time) will post a new thread stating the new info, complete with twitter screenshots/links and/or a link to a new entry on the dev team blog. Until then we all get to yell at each other.
 
I wouldnt expect a jailbreak for the 4S looking at how difficult it is to jailbreak the iPad 2 with the A5 chip. Its either gonna be a very long wait (Id say until next summer) or never. You have to realise the jailbreak developers are doing this for free on their free time, so they have absolutely no rush. They may work a little today, ANOTHER little next week, etc.

They iPhone 4 still doesnt have an untethered jailbreak!! So the iPhone 4S would have to wait 4-6 months after that.
