I must have been the only one to never use spaces... I found it to be quite useless IMO. But thats just for me.

Its unfortunate that Lion does not include an option to enable the old spaces/expose and dashboard if you dont like mission control.

I never used Spaces once in my life.

For all the naysayers..Are you even using the same OS that I am? Lion is brilliant. Do you really need a big aqua bar to scroll with. Join the year 2011, get magic trackpad, and enjoy. This leaves Snow Leopard and the competition in the dust. The OS is not dumbed down. Some folks just need to wise up..:D

Well said

I can understand mission control being **** on a multiple monitor setup and missing one of your shortcuts after using spaces, but most of your other complaints seem to be related to the looks of the OS rather than how you interact with it.

I am sure if enough users complain about Mission Control Apple will fix it up (or release another OS Which I think guess would be called Mountain Lion).

I guess it really depends on your workflow. I tend to use tons and tons of tabs and just a few windows, spread out over two or three spaces, so Mission Control works just fine for me.

But if you're the kind of person who opens lots of windows, I can see how Mission Control would really mess things up.

No more colored finder icons on the top bar or side bar?

The ridiculous white/grey scrollbars?

The tiny window buttons in the top left?

These are DEFINITE improvements over Snow Leopard.

Do you really need large stoplight buttons?

Aqua scrollbars were oversized and ugly.

And colorless sidebar icons means you can focus on the content IN Finder, not Finder itself.

I remember when people COMPLAINED about Spaces.

Oh well, I guess one man's treasure is another man's trash.

I think too much to just be a "consumer".

I don't support Apple because I'm a "consumer". I buy an item and keep it for its life span. In fact, I rarely buy anything, but when I do buy, it's usually an Apple product. I support Apple because it's a marvel. The organization of the company, the website, the products, the stores, the continued innovation, etc. No other company has as good a system as Apple.

As far as Lion, it's really not much over Snow Leopard, but I definitely feel it was worth the upgrade. Safari is faster (which makes my experience a lot better, considering that's mainly what I do on my Mac), and the whole look of it is better. I think I'm going to visit an Apple Store soon just so I can see the new Lion decorations.

Yeah …

For everyone that doesn't like Mission Control *insert everything which sucks for you* and wants the option to revert back […]- SUBMIT FEEDBACK TO APPLE.

This will only happen if enough people send negative feedback about [as above].[…]
Don't get me wrong, i don't mean it personally, but since when does Apple care about something which bothers anyone of their users ?!
They don't give a ***** about it.

If there's someone who's yellin' about crappy displays, don't worry, we'll just close and lock that away secure.
If they complain about bogus fees for low-cost stuff or the latest MacBook which got *as always* a rubbish graphic, doesn't matter.
We don't care about it.
If some of those dumbheads causes quite a stir – don't worry, we'll just push it beside – briefly for sure, without attracting to much attention.

I wasn't counting how often i send bug-reports [i'm coding too] or has left feedback, they don't care at all.
I have to think about it for a long time when Apple ever left its path to meet cosumers/users needs, they don't care.

Anyway, just my thoughts …

In this sense

Just a bunch of whiners and people who are never happy. People who think it's cool to go against the mainstream and not like Lion.

Always need something to complain about.

Yay, stereotyping!

How dare people have opinions different to yours. They should be ashamed of themselves.

How old are you? Five?

LOL at the people who are talking about splitting ways with Apple and OS X.

Unless you really want to play video games, OS X is still where it's at. If you don't believe me, come back after your first 10 minutes of Windows and complain about all of your viruses.

LOL. I've never had a virus on my 5 Windows computers. I guess you just don't know which links not to click on.

U sound like a fanboy to the "t".

It says something for Snow Leopard when you originally hate Expose's behavior under Snow Leopard, use Lion for a week, and return to Snow Leopard only to exclaim "This is how it should work!"

That says something then. Give Lion a chance and you will love it too. It just shows you are too quick to judge.

A week was not enough? I even reverted back to Expose Classic for a few hours and found myself missing Snow Leopard's implementation.

I am happy with Snow Leopard. I do not need people telling me to buy a new Mac to ENJOY multi-touch gestures or a Magic Trackpad, etc. because my Macbook does not have all these bells and whistles. I just use my Mac for iTunes and Chrome. It is a portable. It is more tolerable to use OS X on a laptop than Windows 7. (Tolerable.)

I just saved myself the hassle of running Lion and buying new software/hardware to "tolerate" Lion. I would rather spend my money on something much more enjoyable right now like eating sushi with my friends or a quick vacation.
