I prepped my mac mini for Lion yesterday, backed up to an external drive, yada yada. Ratty old macbook pro is an unhappy panda because it has an unsupported processor for Lion so, Front Row can remain on that. But I have an old iMac G5 running Leopard and an iBook G4 kicking about somewhere too so I'm used to keeping the old alongside the new.

I have the hots for a new MBA however. My poor credit card is backing away, looking terrified though.

I'm in Canada and all of the stores are up, not sure what everyone is talking about. I'll wait until 8:30 then it's off to bed for me.

I think the main reason for not issuing a release time is to minimise the shear rape the app store servers are going to experience upon release.

Your app was rejected because of system tampering and breaking all the codes of conduct :p

Its wednesday 20th July here in the good old UK, its 10:05 and still the big cat hasnt arrived to the app zoo :(

"Your app 'Lion' was rejected for not following the Apple Human Interface Guidelines."

Excited? Yes :D

Pretty excited about Lion, I've held off getting the beta's / GM as building to a wet climax of Lion goodness.....

Looking forward primarily to the revamped apps such as ical and mail along with full screen apps :D

30Mb cable here in the UK so 4GB shouldn't take too long to download!

Would be nice to see MBA's Mini's and Pros all updated today too :)

I understand that if you buy "Graphic Converter", and press:

Command + Option + Left Shift + L-I-O-N that you unlock the secret Lion download...

(late night upload joke... don't do it, really..! :D)

You've got to be kitten me. I wish those 12 am people weren't lion, it kind hurts my felines staying up all night for this. I just want it right meow.

Hopefully Graphic Converter will get a lot of new people checking it out and buying it. I bought graphic converter a couple of years ago and I use it almost daily. It is the best all-around image app IMO.

Post 1000 of this crazy thread?

It's amazing how Apple weave their advertising madness into our lives. The complete obsession on here for a piece of software is, well, terrifying... but also geekily brilliant!

Breakfast time me thinks!
