How long is it usually down for updates?
Why Apple has to take the Store down to update it. I never figured that.
The average Apple Store downtime is about 2 hours and 40 minutes.
So it'll be up at 12am NZT with Lion becoming available at the same time hopefully.
It's stuff like that which gives fanboys a bad name...

You can always copy the installer to a USB Drive or Burn to a DVD as per the instructions contained in a link at the top of the main page of MR.
So the version coming today, is it the same as the current Gold Master i'm running, or should i install the app store version? Because usually isn't Gold Master what gets released? Will there be any differences in the app store release?

Do you think they design all the graphics right now? Or is it only one person that does the update? The probably have everything ready a month ago and the update is just a few clicks.
