Question
So, you can make an OS X Lion Boot disc by copying that dmg file to a disk. Can I also install this dmg file on the macs of my family? We all have different iTunes accounts though. So, can they use my disk to install Lion or will they have to pay up too?

LOL I was just there in the same position. I insisted we cut our vacation short so I could get a decent internet connection and install Lion. My parents were miffed.
No, thats migration assistant. That helps you move from a mac running SL to a NEW (keyword) mac running lion
