I'd imagine it will be within that timeframe. After all Apple are a global brand and the conference call yesterday was for global investors etc. They will want to release it during the 20th in every time zone I'd guess.
 
long time lurker motivated to post by Apple store staff being deliberately obtuse 🙄🙄

Called Apple store on Regent Street in London. asked if the MBA was being released today and she said sarcastically "We've always got MBA's in stock" 🙄

When I asked her if / when they were getting stock of the new MBA's she said (sounding very surprised) "New MBA's? Oh, I don't know anything about that, I haven't heard anything."

She is obviously aware that a refresh is due soon, she could have at least acknowledged that and told me to check the site for more info or something.

Bit dissapointing.

lmao yea i got a airtel usb 3g dongle that gives me ****** speeds. but im downloading regardless. 🙄

The staff at the stores know nothing more than you and I... And there is no information on any of Apples website about a possible MBA refresh
 
Hey guys,

Just got back from my local Apple store in Bristol UK. Went to buy a Magic Trackpad for my iMac in preparation haha (got to be done.) I asked the manager what he knew, got the classic Apple employee response "We don't know anything mate, you probably know more than us." Gotta love it. Not long now surely!?

Apple Store employees are sworn to secrecy. She probably knows they will be released today, or sometime soon, but she's not able to tell you or she'll get fired. Maybe her sarcasm was her way to tell you you were right, or just avoiding the question.
 
But will you actually upgrade...

I love all this banter. If your anything like me you look forward to something coming for ages and then pull out at the last minute... Ha ha
No, seriously, what about those possible (inevitable) compatibility issues like last time. You know, Photoshop etc?....

If you said you wanted to buy an Air, I'm sure she'd have sold you a current version!
