Has anyone noticed better battery life as promised? I know that this feature was made in reference specifically to the iPhone, however, I'm hoping the benefits were also found on the iPod Touch? And if so, perhaps someone can confirm or refute this claim? Thank you! :)

I haven't noticed a large change so far. That said, the 2.0.2 upgrade appeared to significantly improve my battery performance vs 2.0.1 and 2.0.

I did notice that 2.1 *appears* to turn off wi-fi when watching videos. Not sure if 2.0.2 did that or not, but I didn't notice it doing it.

Just noticed that in the App store, the number of downloads is no longer listed at the bottom of the screen.

It never did display any download number other than zero so I was expecting it to go. I seem to recall reading that Apple decided not to show downloads as you could work out how much the developer had made on the apps. Why this was a problem is beyond me as is Apple's inability to foresee it.
