So many toys, so little money.

Anyway, a list of stuff I want to buy this year.

1. AppleTV
- streaming High Def movies is the biggest draw, since I don't plan on buying HD-DVD or Blu-Ray until there is a clear winner. Plus, I really hate burning vacation photos to DVD just to watch a slideshow. Having it stream would be sooo nice!

2. Nintendo Wii
- if I can find it!

3. Mac Pro
- Most likely 8-core version with 2-4GB of RAM. Photoshop CS3 would put me over the edge, otherwise I could wait until early 2008.

4. Bose Triport Headphones
- I tried these Bose headphones at an Apple reseller, and was blown away. Really comfortable too.

This is all I really want for this year. As you see, I'm pretty easy to please. :)

1. Ship of the line with full 72 cannon compliment.:D

2. 37inch 1080p native LCD TV and GeForce 8800GTS for my gaming rig. The TV would also be for HD television in my room.

3. iPhone

4. 12-15 dbi omni-directional antennae for my network

5. Fix the A/C in my car before summer.

I think the 1st one would be really cool but unfeasible. While the others are definitely doable.

I'll be honest with you, I'd recommend against Bose products in general. The TriPorts sound OK and are decent as far as Bose products go, but I'd steer you more towards the Sennheiser HD line (the HD555s or the HD595s, specifically). For the $150 the TriPorts cost, you can get much better quality sound and richer aural experience from a non-Bose brand.

I have a pair of the HD515s that sound just as good if not better than the Triports for far less money, and while they're larger in size, they feel far more sturdy than any pair of TriPorts I've ever put near my head.

As for my list of "wants" this year, most of it is software (Yojimbo, SmartBackup) and Wii games. I'd love to pick up an iPhone, but I don't know if I'll be able to justify the cost of the data plan after dropping $500 on the phone itself.

Oh, yeah, and an iMac to replace my PowerBook would be a full-on delight as well.

Top of my list is a new MacBook Pro.

(Sennheiser is a great company too. Great customer service. I'd buy from them again just because of the service I received once.)

New Graphics card for Quicksilver

A4 Wacom

2 x 22" Dells

MacBook

Airport Express

DVD recorder

Photoshop Upgrade

Painter X

A RAM upgrade
A Fender Telecaster mmm..I won't be too fussy (just not red ;) )
A Macro lens
Some tickets to see Good, Bad and the Queen at the Hammersmith Palais (last ever gig there :eek: )

1) '24 Imac with 2 or 3 GBs of RAM - just have to figure out from whom.

2) GPS system for my car - probably Garmin 360 or 660 Nuvi.

3) New, improved beanbag chair! http://www.sumolounge.com/ (And I'd take the blonde in the picture too if she came with it. :D )

4) Lasik eye surgery.

5) Maybe an IPod.

Nothing much other then that. :)

1) My neighbor's Land Rover Discovery

or my dads.

And I will be content for the time being :p

7 Days till I get my drivers license!

This is purely personal preference and I bought and demoed a lot of headphones before I chose the Bose QC2's. I still think they are the best headphones on the market.....personal preference!!

Of course it's personal preference :) If he/she really wants the TriPorts, it's not my place to stop them, but I wanted him/her to be aware that, IMHO, there are cheaper headphones that sound much better than TriPorts. But you're right, headphones are definitely all about personal preference.

I want:

A fully loaded black Macbook (with Leopard included).

A car for when I'm 17 in august and can start learning to drive.

Loads of clothes and shoes; Stussy, Maharishi/dpmhi, Funkrush and much more.

A perfect condition 3rd Gen. iPod for my collection.

An iPhone, whenever it comes out in the UK.

And loads of other stuff. :D

Hmmm...

Hopefully gonna get a 13" planer this year, and the stuff to build myself a nice router table. I'd also like to pick up a couple new pieces of cookware, and there's a few bottles of wine out there that I'm coveting...

The other items I'm looking to get this year I cannot mention or I will get flamed / start a flame war.

Plane ticket
Flat(or room in one to rent)
E90
Selection of stripy shirts
Sheer underwear
More cider...

About to purchase:
* 32" 720p LCD-TV
* Scanner with film adapter

Just ordered (but have yet to receive):
* Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
* AirPort Extreme
* Sunsway/ST Lab USB 2.0 hub 7P
* APC Back-UPS ES 400VA Offline
* Toshiba 200GB 2.5" 4200 rpm HD MK2035GSS (for my MacBook)
* eMagic USB2 enclosure for 2.5" SATA HD (for the current MacBook disk)

Just received:
* HP 6160 photo printer
* 500 GB LaCie Porsche USB2 drive

Got a few weeks ago:
* Olympus E-400

Now I'm extremely broke again... :eek:

Ultra-portable MBP (if it comes out...) or White Macbook
I'll be starting high school and my sister can be a pain with wanting to play Club Penguin (and flash games, etc.) a lot on the computer. Also, the iMac is in the family room with the TV on, much commotion, etc. Having a laptop to bring to my quiet room would be great for concentration.

New Cell Phone
I'm sticking with T-Mobile, and I'm looking at the Blackberry Pearl or the soon-to-come Rizr. You can't beat T-Mobiles prices for the kind of plans I want.

M-Audio Keyboard
I'm not sure about this one. I'd like to use it with GarageBand, but I don't know if I'd use it enough to spend $100+ on it.

Spending Money
Like for going to the mall, going out to eat. I need a job. :p

I'll just stop now, I'm probably sounding greedy. :)
