Number highlighting when using keypad in Enter Passcode on my iPad. A function gone by way of Ive's hatchet job, making the user interface less intuitive and more difficult to use. This iOS isn't State-of-the-Art like some want to believe.:(

Really? Still highlights on the iPhone. I always thought that was weird behavior though.

Lights out on the iPad. It's a conformation function that acts as kind of a friendly reminder. It has nothing in common with weird behavior.

I thought it was weird behavior because passcodes are something that's supposed to be private and you usually don't want your numbers flashed on the screen. All systems seem to do that, so I assume it must greatly enhance usability otherwise they would not comprimise your passcode so readily..

The separate search bar in Safari. I know many people like the consolidated one but I found it really messes up my workflow.

Often I search for something then get a bunch of pages in and realize that wasn't enough or went off topic or whatever. I used to just be able to click back on the search bar and then search again or modify it slight as it remembered what I was searching for. Now I either have to go and clear the URL and enter my search again, or click on the back button and try to find the original search results.

I didn't like it in OS X, and really don't like it in iOS7. Wish they had an option to split it again.

No real chapter navigation for audiobooks. In iOS6 you could see a list of chapters within the book and go to whichever you wanted. Now there is no available list and the only option is to jump sequentially which is of little use in a book of a few hundred chapters.

There is actually a ability to delete message from conversation.
You need to tap at a message, wait 3 seconds and then click "more".
Then you can normal delete messages like in iOS 6.

Actually just tap and hold and the "more" will pop up, doesn't take anything like 3 seconds, one at most.

+1

I also miss the memory keys in the calculator's portrait mode. I used those all the time.

Or press and hold for rather less than 1 second.

It will call the registered number/email available I think... I am sorry I haven't experienced this because all the people I call have just one number and/or one email stored... Which is their main for the facetime...

It isn't... Open contact, click edit, click on the name of the label, scroll down and you will have an option of a custom label...

But the ability to remove that custom label has also been removed in iOS 7 :(
