Wait up. Swift key warns me it may log and send my credit card info if I enable full access? Um. Red flag? Should I do it?

I am still having a problem adding the 3rd party keyboards. When I go into my settings, general, and keyboard. there are no 3rd party keyboards to add. Am I missing something? I would love to add swype and flesky

thanks!

I never even thought about keyboards but after reading all of this, well let's see what's up

as long as you already downloaded them from the App Store first they should be there.

Are third party keyboards not available for iPhone 5? Because I've downloaded Swiftkey and it doesn't allow me to add it as a keyboard :s anyone know?

I would love to have a Swype keyboard, but since none of them supports Danish, I'm going to try Fleksy out.

Any Dvorak layouts for OS 8 available?

Dvorak is SO much faster than the QWERTY layout. Are there any available for OS 8?

SwiftKey does not support gesture typing on iPads. Anyone know if Swype does? It's not a big deal but being able to use gestures would be a bonus.

ok, so reading through this thread it seems that Swiftkey is getting the most love, is that the most recommended?

Frankly, the new default iOS keyboard is a huge improvement and as long as that allows me to rely less on the appalling autocorrect I should be ok.

Apple promised and then subsequently never delivered in iOS 6.1 the ability for 3rd party keyboards to utilize auto correct, auto complete, and punctuation shortcuts. Never happened.

So if I choose to use a bluetooth keyboard like the Logitech Ultrathin with an iPad, I can't use double space to add period, and there is no auto correct or auto complete. This should have happened.

Likewise, Apple should be integrating those shortcuts and features into OS X Yosemite by now.

I guess it's bad when Android takes concepts and features from iOS, but totally fine when iOS takes them from Android.

BECAUSE THATS INNOVATION!!! :apple:

So I've downloaded swiftkey now what? It doesn't show up in the third party keyboard sections, what am I doing wrong?

Very disappointing that Swiftkey is not supporting swipe on iPad. Is that a feature or a bug?

Also something else I noticed is that you can't use Swiftkey (and likely other third party keyboards) in the quick reply function to SMS :(
