Yes it would be... Utilization and times have changed since that evolution. And at these times Apple products were the best we could find.. Not any more !!

Its a shame... That's what is making Apple being less interesting and innovative. People who buy their product made them what they are now. Till now many brands have made this mistake.
Each time something could improve iPhones or iPod, these evolutions come very late, as if they did not care our satisfaction. Strange state of mind, when customers are still those who make them rich lol
Interesting take....considering each and every iPhone iteration released has outsold the previous version, faster that the one it's replacing. As well, NO single handset bad ever outsold an iPhone of the same generation. The same is true with the iPad. They're garnering nearly 80% of smartphone profits and they're customer post sale support is absolutely the pinnacle or customer service itself in definition. While there are a fraction of us 'geeks' that may appreciate a larger phone...I think when folks throw around the 'lack of innovation BS' is just that. Horse puckey. Innovation and the 'simplicity' of iOS is a helluva lot more complex in 'the code' and underpinnings than that of what some may consider a more 'complex' or 'user-customizable' UI/OS. Apple and iOS is as innovative as it gets and the support for development is as innovative and complimentary as the system itself. A significant reason the hearty app development community is so much more 'active' in the iOS world. With better games, apps, and again...post purchase support. Another reason 75-80% of 'app revenue' has been paid to iOS developers and not the market leading Android platform.
How bizarre is that? For every iPhone sold, five Androids are. Yet for each Android app purchased....five iOS apps are bought by customers!
This is in parity with web surfing numbers (data use/platform) and online buying and purchasing.
Innovative. Some need to learn the meaning of the word before throwing it around in these forums in such a negative way ala Apple/iOS. It WAS Apple that completely re-invented the 'smartphone' as we know it today. It continues to be Apple that pushes out a nice update for EVERY device yearly. It continues to be the iOS development community that dominates in revenue and offerings.
I'd truly like to see Windows make some in roads. Take a bite outta the Android and iOS market....and continue to see everyone CONTINUE innovation as they've each done....including the new BB10! Competition is good for all. These are now powerful 'Mini Computers' we've got in our pockets. Capable of almost anything a computer can do and MORE capable than computers we ALL owned just a short five to ten years ago....with faster memory, more stable systems and a development community stronger and bigger than any software generation to date. Not to mention the speed of LTE. Beating that of most folks' home, wired Internet ISP. That's innovation friends....and it's been only six years since that original Iphone hit. Five since we saw a decent Android device....-and Windows is really only two years old. BB10 just arrived....and I think there's a lot more that can be done in this realm of technology. It's a fun time to be alive and enjoying this revolution. While each year may only seem evolutionary, we need to remember we are only a half decade into when the 'real revolution' began.
Forget Treo and BlackBerry. We saw what happened to that idea of 'smartphone' when the iPhone dropped,...and later the Androids!
Sit back. Enjoy what you have. Certainly there's not a one size fits all market. There's something for everyone. But as an OG Galaxy Note owner (2--my wife and I bought them on a whim for our business phones, we have iPhones for personal handsets)....I can honestly say I'll never EVER buy a phone that big again. My contract can't end quick enough....and the stylus, while fun to show off and play with for a week or two...it quickly becomes a novelty and I don't use mine anymore other than when clients sign for credit cards on Square. I can't wait to get rid of my 'Note'. While the Note 2 is a significant update, I've played with it and come to the same conclusion. iOS is where I've decided to 'live'. For now.
Good luck OP...but Apple knows what they're doing. Phone sales over 4.3" is actually quite small in the grand scheme of sales. It's easy to be swayed by the lure of a large screen...a stylus, 1080p....Et al. But in the grand scheme, the grass isn't always greener. Fitting a big phone where you once were able to easily slide your iPhone in and out of is no longer a possibility. The only pants my Note fit into are my hip pocket in my cargo pants. My Levi's. My slacks. My regular day in n out pants don't fit the Note. There's something to the size of a phone...a mobile phone and pocket computer that the 'masses' are looking for. If you're going to devote your resources to a single hand set each year...it makes sense to target the biggest demographic. Not the fringe. Thankfully though, these days your DO have a choice. Unfortunately it won't run iOS
🙁
