Steve said he made it non-replaceable so that his batteries will not end up in landfills because they are bsd for the environment and so that he can make more money because for $100 more you could just buy the latest iPhone and not have to wait. Money is the first thing that comes to mind.

Stupid Safari crashed and had to re-type this.

this is one of the best 3g battery's on the market today. the reason other 3G phones (atleast that ive owned) didn't drain as quick is because we don't use the data AS much as we do on the iPhone.

While I surf a heckuva lot more on Safari, I also do a lot on my WM smartphones each day... from Slingbox to taking impromptu videos of my daughter in the park.

I don't think it's right to have to adjust one's life to a phone's battery limits. If you want to play games all day on the porch, then you should be able to. How? Replaceable batteries is one method.

Just the other day my wife came flying in the house, only to have to leave again unexpectedly. Her phone was near dead. No problem: I popped in a spare that I keep charging. Life interruption: zero. Ditto for me when my battery ran down after using Sling a lot. A spare on vacation is handy too.

The older you get, the less time you have to put up with delays or unnecessary interruptions, just to have something pretty :)
