Listing Consoles Purchase i714700kf +rtx4070 12gb

Thanks to CeSx/ukwebuy.
Consoles gone.
No further patience, purchased HP Omen i713700k/rtx407012gb/64gb ddr5.
Only as I preferred K Series cpu with igpu if required.
64gb is pre config'd -No idea if my return to desktops can ever Need up-to 64gb.
Only question is Shall I make use of recently purchased 1080 monitor or risk Panny 48" oled -Screen Burn?

Comparable to consoles in terms of performance? its not even close. The Desktop you chose will wipe the floor of any current console. I went from a series X to a 13700kf/RTX 4080 set up, lets just say I dont miss my xbox lol

series x/ps5 gpu is equivalent to roughly a 600xt or 3060 ti. And as im sure you're learning, the 4070 is a big step up from either of those.
Nothing to learn from YouTube vid's.
Visually standalone gpu's look less appealing, though hopefully check this week if it gets past deliver 'hub'

Though visually from vid's I'm yet to be convinced.

You're saying that the series x achieve a higher fps at higher res? The graphics are considerably lower quality and upscaled to achieve 60 fps in higher res. that can be achieved by pc as well, but not have to be turned down nearly as much. Plus there is already newer games out there that are limited to just 30 fps on console to achieve the higher res. There is a small batch of games that run at 120fps, but those same games can get well over 200 fps on a better pc. For instance, Call of duty is 120 fps on console, but usually hovers around 90-100fps. My pc can hit well over 200 fps at 1440p on almost maxed graphics. Visually much nicer plus the higher fps
You'll get to see for yourself. I still have a series x in my house, got to do lots of side by side comparisons. The consoles are still a great experience, but a higher end pc is still on a another level at the end of the day

Only stating modern Consoles are very good at what they do to decent standards.
Though delighted Omen is running via oled immediately albeit using Current mouse and mini keyboard= destroyed black ops 6 beta.
I'll consider new Controller and nice keyboard.

And as I said, I don’t disagree that modern consoles are very good machines for their price. And if I was limited to A $500 budget, I would be giving them serious consideration. But once you get up into the higher tier pc’s, modern consoles just can’t keep up, they weren’t meant to either. Nothing wrong with that

Download Msi afterburner. Very popular app, can bring up all your info in game to show fps, temps, ram usage etc

Open afterburner. Click settings tab, the little gear icon. Go to monitoring and you will see a bunch of things you can check off under graph. Find the frame rates, it’s near the bottom of the list. You check that off.
Go to the on screen display tab and make sure you pick a key to use to toggle on screen display as well.

I've 'Fixed' Vid sig loss, connected pc via HDMI Direct to oled- stable video signal.
Only Limitation is by using optical then some nicer sound formats are lossed.

I've been left with resolution glitch Left Side of picture once games have started.
Not the best screenshot though StarF and COD6 have multi colour left sided flashing border i.e. less than full screen.
--Edited-- removed afterburrner+riva tuner to restore native formats.
I could re try weekend though eventually viewed FPS albeit tiny fonts, 150's fps Starfield 90% High +A few Ultra.
4K I think it''s oled upscaling as that's pre set for Cable and what were consoles.
Then maybe NVidia Control App managed to maintain 4k.

I find from oled up to HDMI 4 +Soundbar HDM 1-2+E-Arc ports.
That HDMI from desktop gpu is making me consider HDMI Switcher!😕
When connecting pc HDMI to soundbar hdmi, I can't make pc stay with stable 4k/120hz Video signal, though recent consoles were stable.
Reading forum's it's possible a separate Powered HDMI Switcher can fix this.
Win11 reload fixed Vid Signal.
Not re trying afterburner this time, i can use nvidia Control fps, most are from high 70's/90's 12x's etc quite enjoyable.

I haven't checked OEM prices in a long time so I went to configure OMEN 45L with i9-14K + 4090 + 64GB 5200 + 1TB M.2 and total comes to $3,614.99
Not bad but still can't beat custom build of i9-14KF + ASUS TUF 4090 + ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H (open box) + 128GB 5600 + 2TB M.2 990 Pro + Seasonic 1200W 80+ Gold + WD Red Plus 8TB + Fractal Design Define 7XL = $3,643.00

Is it too early to consider Core Ultra pre build as replacement for returned 13th Gen.
