Comparable to consoles in terms of performance? its not even close. The Desktop you chose will wipe the floor of any current console. I went from a series X to a 13700kf/RTX 4080 set up, lets just say I dont miss my xbox lolThese are my intentions....list ps5 Digi+Series S 1tb carbon black.
Intend to purchase HP 25L i714700kf and could take 16gb ddr5 from 16-32gb.
Is this move is comparable to both consoles.
Lets see from tomorrow, it's been limited YouTube vid's for 4070 demo's.Comparable to consoles in terms of performance? its not even close. The Desktop you chose will wipe the floor of any current console. I went from a series X to a 13700kf/RTX 4080 set up, lets just say I dont miss my xbox lol
series x/ps5 gpu is equivalent to roughly a 600xt or 3060 ti. And as im sure you're learning, the 4070 is a big step up from either of those.Lets see from tomorrow, it's been limited YouTube vid's for 4070 demo's.

Standalone looks less appealing how?Nothing to learn from YouTube vid's.
Visually standalone gpu's look less appealing, though hopefully check this week if it gets past deliver 'hub'
Please consider you tube vid's only.Standalone looks less appealing how?
You're saying that the series x achieve a higher fps at higher res? The graphics are considerably lower quality and upscaled to achieve 60 fps in higher res. that can be achieved by pc as well, but not have to be turned down nearly as much. Plus there is already newer games out there that are limited to just 30 fps on console to achieve the higher res. There is a small batch of games that run at 120fps, but those same games can get well over 200 fps on a better pc. For instance, Call of duty is 120 fps on console, but usually hovers around 90-100fps. My pc can hit well over 200 fps at 1440p on almost maxed graphics. Visually much nicer plus the higher fpsPlease consider you tube vid's only.
Low FPS via Higher Resolutions part' 1440/4k
p.s. This isn't intended as Console V Gpu thread.
Though visually from vid's I'm yet to be convinced.
And as I said, I don’t disagree that modern consoles are very good machines for their price. And if I was limited to A $500 budget, I would be giving them serious consideration. But once you get up into the higher tier pc’s, modern consoles just can’t keep up, they weren’t meant to either. Nothing wrong with that@1BadManVan
Only stating modern Consoles are very good at what they do to decent standards.
Though delighted Omen is running via oled immediately albeit using Current mouse and mini keyboard= destroyed black ops 6 beta.
I'll consider new Controller and nice keyboard.

I did, please post settings if possible, I'm missing fps indicator.Download Msi afterburner. Very popular app, can bring up all your info in game to show fps, temps, ram usage etc
Open afterburner. Click settings tab, the little gear icon. Go to monitoring and you will see a bunch of things you can check off under graph. Find the frame rates, it’s near the bottom of the list. You check that off.I did, please post settings if possible, I'm missing fps indicator.
