My guess is Apple online will be pushing prices* with trade-in hard.

I think your guess is correct as Apple have to stay PRO-active in ensuring sales are better than the last models.

Only thing that pulled at my heart strings was Always On Display for the AW. Everything else was meh, but I'm not upgrading from a X or XS, so the 11 Pro is still worth it for me.

Wow! I salute you for holding out ! It’ll be more than worth it to upgrade. Of course, depending on your use case.

I'm holding onto the Watch Series 1 until it isn't tethered to an iPhone and can stand alone as a phone.

That's how I've felt the past few years, but my 8s is starting to show its age. I've been trying to hold out for the return of Touch ID but may bite the bullet this year on the 11.

If you want the best bang for your buck and more future-proofing, save your money and wait for next year's iPhone 11S. At least you'll have 5G and bilateral wireless charging.

So one more thing? So that rumor was a flop. No new Apple TV, no Apple Tags, and no new HomePod Mini. Seems like they are holding back for an autumn event later next month, where they should talk about at least some of those things alongside the 16" MBP and maybe new AirPods. iPad Pro is also still on the table, even though rumors were pointing to Spring 2020.

True, but this year feels a bit different. Faster processor, new camera and that’s it. Rather underwhelming.

I just got a Series 4 in May but the always-on screen really appeals to me.
