I'm really not understanding why the appleTV app exists. What problem is it trying to solve? All these features already exist. Unless you subscribe to so many services you can't even keep track of them, what is the draw of viewing through Apple's app?

Like she said said she wants to watch the new so-and-so show. How does the appleTV make that easier than not having the appleTV app?

I fell asleep around the 05:00 mark. Then ... "Beyond A Steel Sky" ??? WFT ? Brings memories. I couldn't care any less for all the other things that were/will be said in this event, they are not for me, and I am happy to realise that I don't even exist according to Apple, marketers, the whole industry. Just give me the game (though it would be really lame if it is tied to that damn Apple Store or a subscription service).

So now Apple is:
  • The New News
  • The New Bank
  • The New Gaming Company
  • The New TV
  • The New Music Company
All other companies can close the doors...

P.S. They were too busy so they had no time to invent a good Laptop and a new good Desktop.

Aren't their Channels only available for Prime members? Might be nice for those who aren't. I've been using my Prime benefits less and less these days....

Amazon has Grand Tour. I am sure they have something else, but filtering through the pay-per-view takes to long.

No you can pay to subscribe to individual cable channels. They have Eurosport and Hay U, the discovery channel and the history channel off head. There are more. I don’t use my fire TV often.

All off this has been done my amazon.

Apple wasn't kidding when they said they want to heavily increase their services income. They are really doubling down on this.
