"most forward-thinking phone we've ever created"

...aaand it looks exactly like the last iphone

oh, apple

"It's quite remarkable when something feels familiar and yet is new at the same time. That's the iPhone 5C." -- This statement will no doubt be repeated by those who complain that the iPhone is "outdated" and/or the 5C (or even the 5S) are "not new enough." I also predict people saying things like "The fanboys are now saying Apple stuff is better BECAUSE it's outdated," and "The fanboys think Apple invented plastic smartphones. Well, my Galaxy was plastic before it was cool!"

Now let's see if the 5S is "new enough."

like it matters. iPhone5 was plenty fast enough. This one needs a way better camera and better batterylife, and we're talking.

The Bear Family visits Mac Rumors Forums:

Mama Bear said "Ew, the iPhone 5 is fragile glass"
Papa Bear said "Ew, the iPhone 5C is cheap plastic"
Baby Bear said "Ew, the cases are ugly"
Uncle Bear said "Ew, it's not liquid metal (also I have no idea what that is)"
And so on, for all of time. The end.

;)

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but September 18th is a Wednesday not a Friday? y'know in case you were curious, cause i'm sure no one has noticed it yet. i try to be helpful in these things.

What if you're someone, like me, who can't shell out $200 on a contract for the 5S but doesn't want a cheap plastic phone in, frankly hideous, colors? I just wanted a nice, metal, black iPhone. The iPhone 5 fit that bill perfectly if the price dropped. Now I either have to stumble across a ton of money for the 5S or be stuck with a plastic iPhone.

Or get a refurb black 4s
