It's amazing to me the things that seem important to Apple (aka Steve Jobs) and the things that seem important to me. I never use any of the features Phil is describing.

Nice of Phil Schiller to dress up for the event. Did he just come out of bed?

Also, did anybody get the impression from the first part of the event that they were really trying to convince people that they still care about the Mac? It didn't seem to work for me, it seemed to indicate the opposite. Especially as Steve hasn't bothered to do the whole keynote himself.

Yeah, I think they realized finally that the Mac was starting to suffer from them spending too much time pissing about with iToys. They forget, without those Macs no developers exist

We might get told the name of 10.7 and that'll be it. If this is the length of time time Phil is going to take on iPhoto, then we'll be over an hour at least by the time they finish iLife and iWork.

Patience, assuming they do introduce 10.7 it's likely to be an overview only at this stage anyway if we're still a year away, doubly so if they really are going the touch screen route as they don't want to give that away now as it may affect Mac sales between now and 10.7 release date.

ZOMG!!!! Snowflakes move in the background! 15 minutes of this crap. Seriously? I doubt we will see much of 10.7 today.

Yep, it was definitely forced from Cook. Schiller doesn't exactly sound enthusiastic either.

Someone yell out "no one gives a crap...what about the Macbook Air" and see what happens. I'm seriously expecting someone to do this. Now.
