It's amazing to me the things that seem important to Apple (aka Steve Jobs) and the things that seem important to me. I never use any of the features Phil is describing.

Ditto....who the hell cares if you can get a map up showing where photos were taken? Its pointless unless you fancy sitting there putting in GPS chords for each of the 1000+ photos from a vacation. Not everyone wants to use an iPhone to take photos, let alone use it abroad to charge you thousands in Data fees for GPS.

Yeah, that's a lot of time spent showing slide shows *yawn*. iPhoto is probably the only iLife app I use and that's just to get photos off my iphone and the only change I'd like to see is it to be able to recognize the photos it already took off my phone and not insist on downloading them all over again.

I like to keep the photos on my iphone but it seems the only way to get iPhoto not to keep downloading duplicates when I want to get new photos off my phone onto my computer is if I give in and have it delete them off my phone.

iPhoto is going to be very popular with people that use it. The new interface is really nice, and the info box is great.

The email templates look pretty nice, too.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

These iPhoto features do look pretty cool. Too bad I'll never use em.

os x black ios-like

anyone noticed the black theme of iphoto window?
the new os x is coming up later?.

So basically no real new features. Just the same features we have now, but available in fullscreen.

Patience, assuming they do introduce 10.7 it's likely to be an overview only at this stage anyway if we're still a year away, doubly so if they really are going the touch screen route as they don't want to give that away now as it may affect Mac sales between now and 10.7 release date.

Announcements of the new OS barely effect sales. I know we'll not find out any form of detail, but something to keep the 'Mac' crowd interested would be nice.

This is nothing to do with the Mac so far, it's about iCrap for iFans. Whoopi, you can upload to Facebook, 1 click quicker.

HTML5 fail so far... So much for replacing flash. With Flash there would be none of these browser issues.
