Does this mean another year gone by and no new iWork suite. I was hoping that they would update iWork PAGES App with new advanced page layout features that were not implemented in the last update.

The whole "Back to the Mac" thing is really disappointing. I assumed that Steve was talking about bringing new innovations to the Mac, not bringing iOS features over to Mac OS X. It looks like Snow Leopard will be the final Mac release not tainted by iOS "innovations" (and, therefore, will be the final Mac OS release I will ever use). :(

Needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed with Steve and Apple and the "upgrades" to Mac OS X and iLife that were introduced today.

As long as I can still install programs without needing to go to a mac app store, I'm ok with this.

I think in the long run apple is going to try to control the apps, just like that iPhone, that is approve them. I'm not one who's open to that mentality.

What is the point of launch pad? I have all the icons in my tool bar that I need and they are only one click away.
