Okay, I'm convinced. For the bulk of non-techie users the app store is going to be a godsend. Just that installation process alone will be enough to remove a lot of the fear that still exists from non-technical users.

Wohoo!!! Lion will now save the state of apps when you close them like on iOS! So they will kill the true multitasking in Lion. But who cares? Battery time will be so much better!!!

I hope 10.7 doesn't alter how multitasking occurs. The more I see what apple doing with 10.7 and the direction they're pushing this, the less I like of it.

wow what a huge disappointment...i'm a macpro user i don't want no ipad and appstore crap on my computer.

so if i understand wright, the next big thing in a new OS is the appstore crap. LOL i knew this was going to be a huge disappointment. Apple clearly has lost it. this is probably my first and last mac i'll ever buy

Finally, Windows users won't complain about the maximise button. A lot of people like full-screen so I think that's a good move.

Not everyone uses spotlight. It's a PITA when trying to mount remote volumes.
