Touch bar seems unnecessary for Pro users. We use keyboard shortcuts.
Interesting that the track pad is bigger, almost making the point that it's still much more useful for gestures than using software buttons from the bar.

I have no problem with emoji support in the Touchbar. However I do have a problem with them spending time in the Keynote showing it off. It's a PRO machine for pity's sake. Good christ.

OLED bar sounded cool, but this demo is changing my mind. Does Apple think everyone looks at their keyboard while typing? How the hell is selecting emoticons for a text box easier on the OLED bar than a screen UI? Looking down to see suggested recipients in email is somehow easier than it already was?

Waiting to see how I can use the non-existing function keys in my IDE.

They are trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist... it just makes things more difficult.

We now get to constantly shift our eyes and fingers between three input devices now - the touchpad, the keyboard, and the touch bar, and then back and forth to the screen. This is a productivity disaster.

So each time that an app comes with the new version we might have a new layout for the touch bar. It could end up being the most confusing tool in the history of computing.
