I have to be in iTunes to control iTunes? Did they even think that sentence through? I can control whatever is playing right now using my function bar, no app switching needed!

That's a pertinent question. Can you use the touchpad to control out of focus apps like media players.

Larger SSD .. not surprising. That was expected.

Larger RAM capacity is probably a given as well.

Most people don't look at their keyboard very much when they're typing/working. This is adding something that changes our behavior. A touch screen would have been a better idea.

Apple wants people to slow down their typing apparently. Sorta like the original invention of the QWERTY keyboard to stop typewriter jams.

Am i the only one who thinks this touch bar looks kind of corny? Also not a big fan on the Iphone like functions - using fingerprint to open the computer...etc. The way i see it, the more crap they integrate the bigger the chance the computer is not going to work the way it should...name me one Apple product released in the last years that just worked the way it should...there's always something not working....i had it with my Iphone, had problems with the old mac pro i owned...had problems with the new mac pro i bought...actually they had it replaced two times because it simply did not work the way as advertised....i'm guessing this is going to be a complete disaster in terms of quality.

And whats with the clapping fan club....looks like a sect of some sort
