For the love of god Apple!!!! Keep just ONE sodding legacy connector!!!!

BangHeadAgainstbrickWall.gif~c200

I love the laptop and I'm all up for progress but the idea of throwing away literally EVERY USB connector I have is pretty sick and so utterly wasteful.

- USB memory stick
- Network adapters
- Older hardware that still works perfectly.
- Non-wifi printers.
- Cameras like GoPro's
- Fitness trackers
- My DSP car amp

Just SO much use legacy USB devices. Now I have to buy a TON of overpriced adapters to make it all work.

or just get a hub or a few new cables.

The product itself is old junk tech plus a touch bar. All they can do is show off that touch bar in different apps because other than that there's no reason to upgrade the 2012 model and plenty of reasons not to.

I disagree to a point -- the touch bar has the potential to boost personal effeciency as the original Macs menu bar did. The problem I see is that companies like Adobe and Microsoft will only include support for their cloud based versions so if you don't subscribe to Adobe or Office cloud then you lose a great deal of of the functionality the touch bar offers. (Unless it's 100% user programmable and doesn't depend on developer support -- I'm not clear on that).

And they introduced an even more complex keyboard?!? The Space Bar on my 2013 MBP broke, and they had to replace the whole top half because they couldn't figure out how to get the replacement key to be seated correctly.
