"High fidelity, room filling sound"!?! HA!! Funniest thing I've heard this presentation. And there's been some funny stuff. I mean sure, "don't knock it until you try it" but come on, you need a decent sized speaker for decent sound.
Agree! I wonder how many of us are actually spending most of our time using the Macbook keyboard. Wouldn't more people be using a separate keyboard and a big screen most of the time? An upgraded trackpad, or a separate keyboard with touch bar, would be much more useful.
At this point ... just hearing Ive's voice sends me into a rage. Hearing his voice means that in one moment i will find out all the features and ports he has removed for his "clean lines". Jobs and Ive once made a powerful team to save Apple. Now Ive on his own will destroy Apple. He keeps talking about retiring and going back to UK.... please accept his offer Apple !!

Not really, I can see it being incredibly useful, if you choose to use it.
Now giving us a comparison between the new MacBook and a 25 year old lap top....more time killing.
Nothing so far has convinced me to ditch my 2011 17" matte macbook pro.
For the love of god Apple!!!! Keep just ONE sodding legacy connector!!!!
I love the laptop and I'm all up for progress but the idea of throwing away literally EVERY USB connector I have is pretty sick and so utterly wasteful.
- USB memory stick
- Network adapters
- Older hardware that still works perfectly.
- Non-wifi printers.
- Cameras like GoPro's
- Fitness trackers
- My DSP car amp
Just SO much use legacy USB devices. Now I have to buy a TON of overpriced adapters to make it all work.
I really hope they include a couple in the box.
Really - need to compare with a 25 year old laptop to make the new one look good? That's just sad.

How about Apple work on wrinkle-free shirts? That would be stunning. I do want that macbook, though.
I'm looking down at my 2011 MacBook Pro. I don't feel even for a bit that I should exchange it for a model which had 5 years to make it better.
