How many hospitals are going to buy Apple Watches for all of their staff?

Probably very few. Most hospitals do not allow staff to wear watches and jewellery as pathogens are difficult to remove from them and are easily transmitted between patients.

That Airstrip app looks nifty but it is not going to be accepted by physicians until it has been shown in clinical trials to be at least just as accurate and safe as existing monitoring methods. Even then its a stretch because the cost of equipping patients and their doctors with a watch each AND an iPhone to run it is going to be astronomical.
