Same price, same battery life for all these features, thats pretty impressive, I'm gonna go pre-order mine straight after... my first tablet, been holding off for months now and it's paid off haha! :D

The guys from epic games on stage say its got MORE memory than the Xbox 360 and PS3!

iPad - "Most bands that has ever shipped"

With Tim Cook stating this during today's Keynote it leaves me to wonder if they are beginning to support more bands that will be useful to T-Mobile customers.

Since the chip in the iPad will likely be implemented in the iPhone (or something similar) - I wonder if the next iPhone will finally support T-Mobile.

Still not interested.

It's now slightly heavier and honestly, once again, if I am going to tout around something as big as an ipad, I'd rather just tout around my 13" MBP.

So you'd rather go from 1.4 lbs to 4.5 lbs. And you argue that the new iPad is slightly heavier? Contradict much?

This media event is all filler so far. It's nice that Apple is integrating LTE in their devices now but so far this is a snooze fest. Was hoping for an A6 quad core and improved battery life.

So the typical cycle begins....

- excited during announcements
- some features dont get announced
- people complain about how lack luster the event was and what is missing
- people claim they wont buy it because it is missing x
- people buy it
- it breaks records
- rinse and repeat for next event

I am short. But I did use a ruler to check what 15" looks like and I am pretty sure very few people do that. Also, they said people hold iPhones at 10". Obviously a stretch. I am short, and I am pretty sure I hold the phone at about 12" (well, my phone is bigger than iPhone though, perhaps people do bring iPhone closer to their eyes because the screen is small).

I'm only 5'8", and I'm pretty sure I hold the iPad at around 15"... possibly even further.

And I don't see the point you're making about the iPhone. Obviously pixels that are indistinguishable to the retina at 10" would still be indistinguishable at 12"

did i miss it or is there no siri on the new ipad? that would be crazy to not include it..

The consensus seems to be good for new iPad owners, but skip it if you already own an iPad. Seems fair enough.

BTW - why are they spending half an hour talking about software? BORING.
