No T-Mobile.

T-Mobile is gonna be pissed, especially after the CEO blamed Apple for not releasing a t-Mobile iPhone 4S which [according to him] took away much of their business.

I sense a t-Mobile/Apple smack-down comine! :p

Ok where could I preorder it fastest ???? Sit at apple and refresh at rapid fire?

High Resolution Display

I'm not that technical - does the new high resolution display mean that current apps will look smaller on the new iPad?

No Siri, No 8M camera, No quadcore. Well I am not complaining. I am sure it will sell fast and people will line up for it like crazy. The screen upgrade alone is probably worth the upgrade.

I like their product, just don't like their way of doing business not going all out, but always just give enough upgrade as long as it is enough to get users upgrade.

I literally have my credit card out....I wanna lock in a pre-order for this thing and forget about it until next Friday. Would make things infinitely more easier than last year.

Who cares the Xbox 360 only has 512 mb of ram.

yeah kind of my thought as well. the 360 and PS3 are both game consoles so they are in a very different playing field. Plus making that your selling point I think hurts apple more than help given the fact that both are over 5 years old at this point. So is Apple saying it has taken them this long to cross a dedicated device that is over 5 years old?

No one place is faster that anywhere else. All the stores are still offline at the moment.

And I am just wondering, for pre-orders (UK) do Apple get the item to you on launch day, or ship on launch day?

Thanks

It's just called iPad now, btw. But they will announce when pre-orders start before the end of the keynote. Then you sit and refresh rapid fire!

Is that sarcastic? I can't believe anyone really using the iPad to take photos.

Definitely sarcasm. I've only ever seen one person trying to take a photo with his iPad and he looked like a complete idiot trying to balance the iPad while taking the pic.

I can understand the front facing camera, but don't bother putting much effort, if any, into the back facing one.

It's a concern that Apple thought such an insignificant update to their product line needed an event.

Lol thanks

I am short. But I did use a ruler to check what 15" looks like and I am pretty sure very few people do that. Also, they said people hold iPhones at 10". Obviously a stretch. I am short, and I am pretty sure I hold the phone at about 12" (well, my phone is bigger than iPhone though, perhaps people do bring iPhone closer to their eyes because the screen is small).

The closest my phone ever gets to my eyes is when it is on my desk, and that is about 12" away. I have never seen anyone actually hold a phone at or less than 10" away ... it is ridiculously close.

Yes, 10" is very close, but they didn't say most people hold it that far away -- they said pixels are indistguinshable at that distance.

ATT or Verizon

Which one will be better? Both are good speeds, but which should be more "international" ???

I am thinking the Verizon will be more popular...............

what time do these things usually get put on for pre-order?

apple site store just says "we'll be back"
