Live Coverage of Apple's iPad 3 Media Event

Im not sure if the site is crashing or not loading for me or what. Ive selected my model iPad but there is nowhere to add it to the cart.
 
Confirm your quantity before you complete your order. I had three apple TVs in my cart from the Oops! errors.
 
now i can select ipad from the store but there is an error on the page for accessories that prevents me from going further...

you have to wait for the sidebar to populate. then click the green button to "continue" then get "oops an error... "
 
Keep getting to the engraving page. Even though I never get an iDevice engraved due to resale value I'm for whatever reason tempted to put "The new iPad" on this puppy. :cool:
 
Props to that guy who suggested calling in to 1 800 MY APPLE. I was on hold for 10 mins, and the dude took my order. iPad jetting to me with a delivery date of the 16th. Huzzah! :D
 
a female rep said phone orders are down until the site is back up, could be up tonight or by tomorrow morning.

save yourselves the 20 minute wait of disappointment:eek:

Not unless the past half hour was a figment of my imagination. Might be different here in Canada, I dunno. And... I now have email confirmation, so I KNOW it's good.
 
I'm being part of the problem and playing with the site even though I'm probably not going to order. The problem is that there are too many pages to load. The whole thing could have been done in 1-2 page loads instead of the 4 (to engraving) hits to the server it takes.
 
Black 32gb WiFi ordered and confirmed. Finally they took my money!!!!

It says it will be delivered on the 16th...please lord....let it happen!!!!
 
i can't get past the accessories page (just says error in page) and is blank. i call 1800myapple and it immediately just says due to call volume they can't take my call and it hangs up.
 
None of the bloggers have touched on this...has the iPad witnessed any changes to it's tapered edges?
