Panoramic better be added to the 4S with ios6. no reason to make a silly thing only be iphone 5

Regarding battery life, Shiller says the iPhone 5 will exceed the battery life of the iPhone 5.

HOLY CRAP! I can't even wrap my mind around this!

Lol, man Cook sounds exactly like Jobs.. "best thing we've ever made... changes everything.... again. (Again.) Most beautiful... exceeds... etc.

"Regarding battery life, Shiller says the iPhone 5 will exceed the battery life of the iPhone 5."

Wow, it is an EVOLVING iPhone :).

The battery life would necessarily be unbounded.
Imagine a power set without supremum

As a 4S owner who's working through a two year contract, I'm impressed but not "jealous". The A6 is a great addition, I'm a little pissed that it was ready and never made it into the new iPad, but they need something for iPad 4 I suppose.

The thing with iPhone is that each new device is never pushed to it's graphic limit straight away. This is due, in no small part, to the nature of developers who don't want to leave out the out going generation of users and who have to carefully cater for the now previous model as well as the new one. It's annoying if you own a new device, I mean as a 4S owner it was a bit annoying that the only difference between iPhone 4 and 4S versions of Infinity Blade 2 was slightly better frame rates and shafts of light.

Can't wait for all the people screwing up the pins in their charging port with that new connector. Should have kept it the same size, prevents alot of wobbling.

Who cares, they never said they were first to anything.. some people are really annoying when Apple announces new stuff

The way they present it, it's as if every little thing is something revolutionary. But the reality is most of the stuff has been in the real world for years.

You don't "have to," seriously are you actually reading what the guy is saying? You have multiple options to sync your content. Connecting the cord to the computer is only one of them.

I like to use the cable for charging too. We don't have wireless charging yet.

Half the comments so far are about whether the iPhone 5 is "new enough." The form factor and overall appearance may not be a stunning, radical departure from the 4/4S, but so far it seems to improve significantly on its predecessor, and is probably a worthy rival to the Galaxies and Nexi of this world. So yes, IMO it's "new enough."

You know what had a stunning, radical form factor? The 2007 iPhone.

zzzzz another "new" feature - you can share browser tabs across devices in the cloud. Now where have I seen that before?

And you disagree with that?

Yes, because this site hasn't done the work. It's lazy journalism. You might happy with slap dash crap but not everyone is.

On the occasions when they have done their own research the stuff has been brilliant - the Retina display for the iPad comes to mind.

error?

"Regarding battery life, Shiller says the iPhone 5 will exceed the battery life of the iPhone 5."

wait, what

That adapter looks a bit big. Too bad they couldn't or didn't want to make it smaller. I can see tight fits with some old equipment.

I wish it was smaller too, but since it is doing some analog to digital conversion in there it may not have been easy to make it a lot smaller. However, I am sure some 3rd party companies may try to make smaller adapters.
